Multipurpose cashbag level and banknote presence in escrow detector
This disclosure relates to a cashbag sealing system. The system comprises a banknote transport mechanism operable to transport a banknote to a storing unit. The storing unit includes a banknote storing bag detachably coupled to the storing unit, and an escrow plate operable to escrow the banknote before the banknote transported to the storing unit is stored in the banknote storing bag, wherein the escrow plate is operable to move from a horizontally extending hold position to a downwardly or obliquely downwardly extending release position, and wherein the banknote transported to the storing unit is escrowed on the escrow plate when the escrow plate is located at the hold position. The system further comprises a sensor configured to detect a presence of the banknote on the escrow plate, and measure a level of banknotes in the banknote storing bag.

IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETECTING ERRORS IN AN ATM TERMINAL
A system is configured for detecting errors in an ATM. The system includes a processor that receives a withdrawal request from a user to receive cash from a cash dispenser of the ATM. Currency denominations and a number of bills for each currency denomination needed to fulfill the withdrawal request is determined. The system sends signal commands to cassettes of the ATM to dispense bills to fulfill the withdrawal request. A camera is positioned in a pathway of the bills being dispensed from the cassettes to the cash dispenser. The camera captures images of bills being dispensed from the cassettes and sends them to the processor. The processor generates an alert if a number of bills dispensed from at least one cassette does not match a corresponding number of bills expected to be dispensed from the at least one cassette.

SHEET STORAGE UNIT
A sheet storage that stores a sheet includes: a reel around which a tape is wound; a first drive unit that rotates the reel around a rotation axis; a drum that is connected to the reel via the tape and winds the tape wound around the reel together with the sheet; a second drive unit that rotates the drum around a rotation axis; and a control circuitry that controls at least one of the first drive unit and/or the second drive unit to change tension acting on the tape according to a state of the sheet storage.
MEDIUM PROCESSING DEVICE AND METHOD OF CONNECTING UNITS IN MEDIUM PROCESSING DEVICE
A medium processing device includes: a first unit; and a plurality of second units connected to the first unit. Each of the plurality of second units includes: a conveying mechanism that conveys a medium; and a medium detection portion that detects the medium being conveyed by the conveying mechanism and transmits a signal indicating detection of the medium to the first unit. The first unit determines connection order of the plurality of second units with respect to the first unit, based on the signal transmitted from each medium detection portion of the plurality of second units.
