TOKENIZATION OF CONTACTLESS CARDS
The disclosure describes systems and methods for tokenizing a contactless payment card. A token requesting device receives contactless card data associated with the contactless payment card and transmits a token request message to a token service system. The token service system generates a contactless token for the contactless payment card. The contactless token is associated with the contactless card data, for example, in a token vault. The token requesting device establishes a wireless communication connection with the contactless payment card. The contactless token is then written to a token data portion of the contactless payment card memory device and a pointer stored in the token data portion of the contactless payment card memory device is updated to point to the contactless token.
Computer-Implemented Method for Performing a Restricted Transaction
The present disclosure is related to a field of payment transactions using a card that discloses a computer-implemented method and a system for restricting a transaction while using a payment card. A card processing server may receive card details, a transaction amount, a flag, and signature data of the payment card from a remote terminal upon initiating a transaction using the payment card. Further, the card processing server validates the payment card based on the card details and the signature data of the payment card and thereafter determines a value associated with the flag upon successful validation. The value associated with the flag indicates one of two conditions, e.g., a true condition and a false condition. Based on the condition indicated by the flag, the card processing server performs one of a first action and a second action related to either processing or declining the transaction.
Systems and methods for flexibly securing data
A mechanism for flexibly securing data is discussed. A data entry device analyzes data from a user with respect to a security industry whitelist and an originator list and an analysis result controls a masking level of the data. The security industry whitelist references types of data that is not subject to industry-defined encryption standards. The originator list references data originators that produce data requiring non-standard handling. The data from the user is transmitted to and further examined for non-compliance with a pre-defined criteria at a computing device.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE EXECUTING PAYMENT PROCESSING AND PAYMENT METHOD
Provided is a biometric data registration system, which displays screen data for causing a user to select whether a destination of registration of the user's biometric data is a card for payment or a registration destination server device, accepts from the user a selection of the destination of registration, and acquires the user's biometric data. If the selection indicates the card for payment, the biometric data registration system stores the biometric data in a first storage unit which is for managing data which is stored in a storage medium of the card for payment, whereas if the selection indicates the registration destination server device, the biometric data registration system stores the biometric data in a second storage unit which corresponds to the registration destination server device.
ORGANIC LIGHT EMITTING DIODE ("OLED") SINGLE-USE PAYMENT INSTRUMENT
Aspects of the invention relate to components for constructing a payment instrument that includes enhanced electronic features. Apparatus may include an all-inclusive smart card that securely stores sensitive data. Such sensitive data may include credit card, driver's license or passport information. The smart card may generate disposable card numbers for online or offline onetime transactions.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IMAGE CAPTURE VECTOR FORMAT LASERING ENGINE
A transaction card construction and computer-implemented methods for a transaction card are described. The transaction card has vector formatted visible information lasered onto its surface. In some embodiments, systems and methods are disclosed for enabling the sourcing of visible information using a scalable vector format. The systems and methods may receive a request to add a first plurality of visible information to a transaction card and capture an image of the first plurality of visible information. The systems and methods may also map the image to a bounding box and convert the mapped image into vector format. In addition, the systems and methods may provide the converted image to a laser machine.
TAP TO COPY DATA TO CLIPBOARD VIA NFC
Various embodiments are generally directed to copying data to a clipboard of a mobile device from a contactless card using NFC. A mobile device may issue a request to read data from the contactless card. The contactless card may generate encrypted data in response to the request. The mobile device may receive the encrypted data via NFC and transmit the encrypted data to a server for verification. The server may verify the encrypted data and transmit an indication of an account number for the contactless card to the mobile device. The mobile device may then copy the account number to a clipboard of the mobile device.
Systems, methods and devices for detecting unauthorized devices at transaction devices
Systems, methods and devices for detecting unauthorized devices at transaction devices are disclosed. A method for detecting an unauthorized device in a card slot of a transaction device may include inserting a card slot insert into a card slot for a transaction device, wherein the card slot insert has a width and thickness based on a manufactured width and thickness of the transaction device, and comprises a first indicator indicating that the card slot is secure and a second indicator indicating that the card slot is not secure. When the card slot insert is inserted to a manufactured depth of the card slot, the first indicator is visible outside the card slot, and the second indicator is not visible outside the card slot. When an object is in the card slot, the first indicator and at least a portion of the second indicator are visible outside the card slot.
Payment system using biometric data having security secured, and biometric data registration system
Systems and methods for overmolding a card to prevent chip fraud
Systems and methods for overmolding a card are provided. A chip fraud prevention system include a device including a chip and a substrate. The chip may be at least partially encompassed in a chip pocket, and the substrate may be at least partially encompassed by the overmold.
