SMART CARD NFC SECURE MONEY TRANSFER
A secure method of real time money transferring between account holders utilizes Near Field Communication (NFC) technologies, dynamic transaction cards, and a mobile application to facilitate a seamless mobile transfer of funds. The dynamic transaction card of the customer requesting to make the transfer of funds may be placed in contact with the second recipient dynamic transaction card of the customer receiving the funds transfer to establish an NFC connection. The dynamic transaction card requesting the transfer may receive, via the NFC antenna on the card, the recipient customer account information stored on a passive NFC tag. The dynamic transaction card requesting the transfer may transmit the recipient account information to a mobile application, which may transmit the recipient account information to an account provider system for facilitating the funds transfer.
Transaction Cards and Computer-Based Systems Involving an On-Card Display and Mobile Device for Authenticating Transactions and Methods of Use Thereof
Transaction cards, systems and methods involving an on-card display and an associated mobile computing device utilized for authenticating transactions are disclosed. In one embodiment, an exemplary transaction card may comprise transaction circuitry configured to conduct purchase transactions involving a mobile computing device coupled to or associated with the transaction card, communication circuitry configured to communicate with a provider of the transaction card, an e-ink display configured to display a QR code on the transaction card for use in authentication, data storage configured to store the QR code, and computer readable media having instructions for initiating a second-factor authentication process and displaying the QR code on the e-ink display to be captured by the mobile computing device and transmitted to a system or server for validating the second-factor authentication process.
Providing alerts via a color changing transaction card
Methods and systems disclosed herein may communicate information, such as alerts and notifications, to a cardholder via a color-changing transaction card. In particular, the cardholder may configure one or more thresholds that establish when a transaction card may change colors. For instance, a transaction card may change colors at, or while approaching, a first threshold. The transaction card may change colors at, or while approaching, a second threshold. When the cardholder's balance goes below the thresholds, the transaction card may revert back to the lower threshold color or the original color of the transaction card. Using the techniques described herein a financial institution may convey information to a cardholder in a way that does not require the cardholder to digitally engage with the financial institution.
Systems and methods for card authorization
Example embodiments of systems, methods, and computer-accessible mediums for transaction authorization are provided. An exemplary system can comprise a card including an input device and a display device in data communication with a server. The server can generate an authorization passcode upon an initiation of a transaction session, and the card can receive an entered passcode through the input device, display the entered passcode on the display device, and transmit the entered passcode to the server for comparison to the authorization passcode. Upon a determination that the entered passcode is a match for the authorization passcode, the server can transmit a match notification indicating the transaction session is valid, and upon a determination that the entered passcode is a mismatch for the authorization passcode, the server can transmit a mismatch notification terminating the transaction session.
Methods, mediums, and systems for applying a display to a transaction card
Exemplary embodiments relate to updatable displays for transaction cards, such as credit cards or event passes. The displays may be, for instance, an electrophoretic or memory liquid crystal diode display. The transaction card may include a contact pad capable of engaging in wireless communication. Information may be exchanged between the transaction card and a mobile device or terminal, where a processor on the mobile device processes the received information to generate displayable information. The processor updates the display with the displayable information. The contact pad may be electrically connected to the display, and the display may derive electrical power to perform the updating from the wireless communication. For example, where the wireless communication is a near field communication (NFC), a radio frequency field may be generated that supplies enough power to run the processor and at least partially update the display.
CARD SHAPED MOBILE PAYMENT DEVICE AND OPERATION METHOD THEREOF
The present disclosure provides a card shaped mobile payment device, which includes a card shaped casing and an offline payment execution module configured for executing an offline payment operation and disposed in the card shaped casing. The offline payment execution module includes a display module, a security chip, an antenna unit and a central control unit. The display module is used for displaying card information; the security chip is used for generating a token information, which is time-sensitive, and executing a transaction procedure. The antenna unit is electrically connected to the security chip for providing the token information to a transaction device. The central control unit activates the security chip according to a received identity authentication result, and provides a card index information corresponding to the card information to the security chip, so as to access a stored card credential and generate the token information.
MOBILE PAYMENT DEVICE AND METHOD OF OPERATION OF THE SAME
A mobile payment device includes a central control unit, an identity authentication module, an input interface, a display module, a security chip, an induction antenna and a cuboid casing. The central control unit is electrically connected to the identity authentication module, the input interface, the display module, and the security chip. The central control unit selects, according to an input signal inputted by a holder of the mobile payment device, one of at least one card information displayed on the display module to allow the selected card information to serve as payment card information and starts the security chip according to a signal inputted by the holder before making payment, thereby allowing the security chip to provide the payment card information to the induction antenna.

TRANSACTION TOKEN THAT STORES AND PRESENTS LOCATION-SPECIFIC TOKEN IDENTIFIERS
In certain embodiments, location-based activation of card identifiers may be facilitated. In some embodiments, an electrophoretic display card may store a set of location-specific card identifiers, where each card identifier of the set is associated with (i) an account of a user and (ii) creation location information indicating a device location of the user at a creation time of the card identifier. In response to being powered by a user device, the card may initiate wireless communication with the user device. The card may determine a device location of the user device, select a card identifier from the set of card identifiers that matches the device location, and switch a state of the card identifier to an active state to enable transaction processing for the card identifier. In some embodiments, the card may cause the active card identifier to be presented on an electrophoretic display of the card.
