SMART CARD WITH ACTIVE DIRECTIONAL INDICIA AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
A smart card includes a plurality of display devices on an outside surface of a housing. Circuitry within the housing includes a processor, and communication circuitry configured to communicate with at least one computing device located within a geographic region around the smart card. The processor is configured to continuously receive a plurality of communication signals from the computing device, to continuously assess a geographic distance from the smart card to the fixed position of the computing device within the geographic region using the plurality of communication signals, to continuously activate or deactivate the plurality of display devices based on the geographic distance from the smart card to the fixed position of the computing device in the geographic region for providing a user with a directional indication, distance indication, or both, to the computing device in the geographic region.
Multi-card including fingerprint input unit and payment method using the same
Provided is a multi-card having a fingerprint input unit and a payment method using the same, and the multi-card includes a secure element adapted to allow multiple pieces of card information issued to the same card service to match each of a plurality of fingerprints to thus store the matching results therein and a fingerprint input unit for receiving the plurality of fingerprints inputted thereto, wherein the secure element produces transaction response information having one piece of card information activated according to the fingerprint information inputted to the fingerprint input unit.
Electronic badge and housing for the same
The present disclosure provides an electronic badge and a housing for the same. The housing includes: a rear case defining a main board cavity, and formed with a display opening in communication with the main board cavity and a profile card receiving slot located outside the main board cavity; and a front case detachably disposed on the rear case to enclose the profile card receiving slot or both the display opening and the profile card receiving slot, a portion of the front case opposite the profile card receiving slot or both the display opening and the profile card receiving slot being made of a transparent material.
Smart card with self-contained connection architecture
Systems and methods for executing transactions with increased transactional efficiency and security via a smart payment instrument with self-contained transaction architecture are provided. Methods may include receiving information via a tactile sensor that is affixed to the instrument. Information may include a series of alphanumeric symbols. The receiving may be achieved by entering the symbols via the tactile sensor. Methods may include deciphering the information, via a payment interface component of the instrument, to generate payment data. Payment data may include a recipient and a payment amount. Methods may include transmitting to a payment gateway, via a wireless communication element embedded in the instrument, a request to execute a payment based on the payment data.
Dynamic transaction card protected by multi-factor authentication
A dynamic transaction card comprising an outer surface, a sensor, and a display disposed on the outer surface is disclosed. The dynamic transaction card can include an antenna and a microcontroller controlling a dynamic transaction card application. The dynamic transaction card can also include a secure payment chip having a plurality of contact points and storing a passive tag associated with a user. The passive tag can include a unique identifier and one or more log-in credentials for the user. When making a purchase, the user can be authenticated via a connection between the dynamic transaction card and a user device. The unique identifier can be used as an authentication token and the one or more log-in credentials can be verified against log-in credentials associated with the user.
SECURITY DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR DYNAMIC TRANSACTION CARDS
A dynamic transaction card including: one or more light emitting elements; a transceiver; and an embedded microprocessor configured to: receive, from a transaction terminal, a location information corresponding to a current location of the transaction terminal; wirelessly transmit, via the transceiver and to a mobile device, the location information; receive an indication that a location-specific security concern exists; and in response to receiving the indication, control the one or more light emitting elements to display a visual indication corresponding to the location-specific security concern.
CARD TO CARD TRANSACTION INITIATION USING LIGHT FIDELITY ("LIFI") ENABLED SMART GLASSES
A smart glasses device for initiating a transaction between a first smart card and a second smart card is provided. The smart glasses device may include a camera operable to capture an image of the first smart card and of the second smart card. The smart glasses device may include a display operable to trigger an augmented reality display including a first selectable image of the first smart card and a second selectable image of the second smart card. The camera may further capture a series of motions corresponding to a numerical value inputted in an augmented fillable field, a selection of the second selectable image of the second smart card, and a movement dragging the selected second selectable image from a first location to a second location positioned on top of the first selectable image of the first smart card. The positioning automatically triggering an initiation of the transaction.
Method and system for conducting and recording insurance claim transactions using blockchain
A method and system for conducting and recording insurance claim transactions using blockchain is provided. The method comprises the steps of: receiving a first verification element from a claimant at an authenticated provider device of a provider; verifying an eligibility of said claimant at a financer and an eligibility of said provider at a provider network according to said first verification element and said provider device; receiving a second verification element from said claimant at said provider device, said second verification element being distinct from said first verification element; conducting said insurance claim transaction by triggering a transaction chaincode at said provider device according to said second verification element; recording an entry of said insurance claim transaction on a blockchain ledger of a blockchain system; wherein a hashed value of an irreversible hash of said first verification element and said second verification element is stored in a global ledger of said blockchain system, and said entry of insurance claim transaction is stored in a private ledger of said blockchain system only accessible by said financer and said provider network; wherein a proof of claim of said insurance claim transaction is collected from said provider device at the time said transaction chaincode is triggered.
DUAL COMMUNICATION CHANNEL SMART CARD
Wait times at ATMs may undermine the utility of these self-service machines. ATMs are configured to provide faster self-service kiosks that allow users to quickly perform common financial transactions. However, it has been increasing common for users to have to wait on a line to access an ATM. Apparatus and methods are provided for a smart card that stages transactions by capturing the amount, pin and other necessary information on the smart card itself, before the user begins interacting with the ATM. Information captured by the smart card may be transferred to ATM when the smart card is inserted into ATM. The user does not provide the ATM with any additional information after inserted the smart card into the ATM, thereby improving the transaction processing efficiency of the ATM and enhancing user satisfaction.
