SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CARD AUTHORIZATION

Example embodiments of systems, methods, and computer-accessible mediums for transaction authorization are provided. An exemplary system can comprise a card including an input device and a display device in data communication with a server. The server can generate an authorization passcode upon an initiation of a transaction session, and the card can receive an entered passcode through the input device, display the entered passcode on the display device, and transmit the entered passcode to the server for comparison to the authorization passcode. Upon a determination that the entered passcode is a match for the authorization passcode, the server can transmit a match notification indicating the transaction session is valid, and upon a determination that the entered passcode is a mismatch for the authorization passcode, the server can transmit a mismatch notification terminating the transaction session.

A Digital Payment Device (DPD) including a Digital Transaction Processing Unit (DTPU), a Microcontroller Unit (MCU), and a command generation unit, wherein the command generation unit is operable to generate a DTPU command capable of being authenticated against a targeted security domain of the DTPU, the DTPU command including a payload capable of being executed by the DTPU; and the MCU is operable to communicate the DTPU command to the DTPU for execution by the DTPU.

Computer-Implemented Method for Performing a Restricted Transaction
20220012714 · 2022-01-13 ·

The present disclosure is related to a field of payment transactions using a card that discloses a computer-implemented method and a system for restricting a transaction while using a payment card. A card processing server may receive card details, a transaction amount, a flag, and signature data of the payment card from a remote terminal upon initiating a transaction using the payment card. Further, the card processing server validates the payment card based on the card details and the signature data of the payment card and thereafter determines a value associated with the flag upon successful validation. The value associated with the flag indicates one of two conditions, e.g., a true condition and a false condition. Based on the condition indicated by the flag, the card processing server performs one of a first action and a second action related to either processing or declining the transaction.

Generation and verification of a temporary card security code for use in card based transactions

The present disclosure presents a method for a card based transaction between a mobile terminal and a service provider system having one or several computer servers. The mobile terminal obtains a CSC from credit card/debit card. The mobile terminal obtains a data seed. The mobile terminal applies a minimal perfect hash function to the CSC as well as the data seed to generate a temporary CSC. The mobile terminal initiates a card based transaction with the service provider system utilizing the generated temporary CSC. The service provider system obtains the temporary CSC and applies a same minimal perfect hash function to the temporary CSC until a match is found between the obtained temporary CSC and one CSC stored at the service provider system. In response to a match the service provider system continues the initiated card based transaction with the mobile terminal.

PERSONALIZATION METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR FINANCIAL IC CARD HAVING DYNAMIC VERIFICATION CODE
20210342827 · 2021-11-04 ·

A personalization method for a financial IC card having a dynamic verification code, comprising: an upper apparatus organizes second personalization information comprising a second disperse key, and organizes a personalization data packet according to the second personalization information; after the upper apparatus and a personalization device establish a security channel, if the upper apparatus transmits the personalization data packet to the personalization device by means of the security channel, the personalization device writes the second personalization information into a financial IC card; if the upper apparatus transmits a verification request to the personalization device by means of the security channel, the personalization device reads a time window and a dynamic verification code from the financial IC card, returns the time window and the dynamic verification code to the upper apparatus by means of the security channel for verification, receives a verification result returned by the upper apparatus by means of the security channel, and if the verification is successful, reads a personalization state in the financial IC card and saves the personalization state, and returns personalization success information to the upper apparatus by means of the security channel.

System and method enabling mobile near-field communication to update display on a payment card

Disclosed are a system and methods enabling updating of a card number of a payment card and thereby reissuing the payment card utilizing a reissue application associated with the payment card. The reissue application, when executed communicates with a service provider that manages the payment card. The payment card includes processing circuity and a rewriteable visual display. Using cryptographic techniques, the reissue application and payment card are authenticated to the service provider. Upon verification, an updated card number is obtained and provided via near-field communication to the payment card. In response to the update payment card number received from the reissue application, the rewriteable visual display on the payment card is updated with the updated card number. Other information may also be presented on the rewriteable visual display of the payment card based on user preferences.

CONTACTLESS CARD EMULATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
20210344495 · 2021-11-04 · ·

A system and method are described that enables mobile devices (e.g. including but not limited to a mobile phone or the like), to intercept and respond to contactless card authentication requests, allowing mobile devices to be used in place of contactless cards. Enabling mobile phone devices to emulate contactless cards decreases issues related to lost or damaged cards, enabling a single device to be used to provide tokens related to multiple different contactless cards, and leverages functionality of the mobile device to provide dual-factor authentication.

Systems, methods, articles of manufacture for authentication of payment cards. A server may assign, in a database, an expected card identifier to a contactless card, the contactless card associated with an account. The server may receive, from a client device, a request comprising a uniform resource locator (URL), a parameter of the URL comprising a card identifier, wherein the URL is transmitted by the contactless card to the client device. The server may extract the card identifier from the URL and compare the extracted card identifier to the expected card identifier in the database. The server may determine, based on the comparison, that the extracted card identifier matches the expected card identifier. The server may authenticate the request based on the extracted card identifier matching the expected card identifier, and transmit, to the client device, an indication specifying that the request was authenticated.
