UNIT DOSE DISPENSING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Mechanisms for dispensing items such as medications and medical supplies. Different mechanisms may be tailored to dispensing different kinds of items, for example medications in single dose packages, vials, syringes, or other similarly-shaped items. The dispensers may be placed in a dispensing unit that includes a lockable restock drawer and a dispense drawer into which items are dispensed by the dispensing mechanisms. The various kinds of dispensing mechanisms may be installed in the restock drawer in any workable proportion and arrangement. The dispensing mechanisms include multiple sensing technologies for tracking and inventory of items and for accurate sensing of items as they are dispensed.

Dispenser
A dispenser (10) comprising a first housing portion (14) including an elongate planar member (15). A second housing portion (16) is moveable between an open position and a closed position such that, in the closed position, a tubular chamber having an open lower end is defined. A plurality of platforms (22) are each pivotally secured adjacent a first edge (24) thereof to a first surface (20) of the elongate planar member (15). A protrusion (28) is provided on the first edge (24) of each platform (24) such that the protrusion extends through an aperture (27) in the elongate planar member (15). A support member (26) is provided on a second opposite surface (21) of the elongate planar member (15) adjacent each of the apertures (27). Each support member (26) is moveable between a first position in which the support member (26) engages with the protrusion (28) to hold the platform (22) in a horizontal position and a second position in which the platform (22) moves to a vertical position thereof.

DISPENSING UNIT FOR BAKED PRODUCTS
The present invention relates to a dispensing unit for baked products, in particular, baguettes, and to a device for dispensing baked products which comprises a dispensing unit. Such dispensing units can be found, for example, in supermarkets, with a continuous baking oven being connected upstream of said dispensing units. At a customer's request by pushing on a button it is possible for various, freshly baked or crisped-up baked products to be dispensed from the dispensing unit.

Product discharging device
A product discharging device includes: a lower pedal that is swingably disposed to move forward to and backward from a product storage passage storing input products in a vertical direction; an upper pedal that is swingably disposed to move forward to and backward from the product storage passage in an area above the lower pedal; a pedal stopper pin that is coupled to a pedal link linking the lower pedal and the upper pedal and that is movable with movement in the vertical direction of the pedal link; and a rotation stopper of which a tip is linked to the lower pedal and that is swingably disposed to move forward to and backward from the product storage passage along with the lower pedal.
