A dynamic lumbar realignment system is provided. A stabilizing and compressive strap is configured to be positioned onto a body garment with a pelvic cover, a waistband, a left thigh short sleeve and a right thigh short sleeve or is configured to be positioned onto a user with a pelvis, a waist, a left thigh and a right thigh along a therapeutic orientation path. The stabilizing and compressive strap comprises a first strap end and a second strap end. The therapeutic orientation path comprises a beginning and an end. The first strap end is fixed at the beginning while the second strap end is fixed at the end. The stabilizing and compressive strap is arranged along the therapeutic orientation path in such a way that abdominal compression, pelvic tilt and thigh rotation are dynamically integrated so as to provide and generate a therapeutic effect.

An interface system includes a support belt, a strap assembly, and a frame system. The frame system includes a first frame member and a second frame member. The first frame member and the second frame member each respectively have an upper attachment portion configured to have an assistive device attached thereto at a first shoulder mount assembly and a second shoulder mount assembly, respectively. The first frame member and the second frame member are each respectively connected to the strap assembly and extend downward contouring laterally and connecting to the support belt. The first frame member and the second frame member contour laterally in opposed directions. The first frame member is connected posteriorly to the second frame member through a pair of hinge arms joined at a pivot connection.

11511149 · 2022-11-29 ·

An exercise device and a method for its use to aid in the correction of Anterior pelvic tilt. A base has an upper support and a lower support. The base device is strapped around a user's stomach and connected to a rope. The rope passes through the user's legs and is attached to a weight holder behind the user. As the user walks forward, the weight holder is dragged along the floor and the force of the weights on the weight holder pressed the base against the user's stomach and aids in proper alignment of the pelvic region.

Scoliosis brace

This invention relates to a three-dimensional scoliosis support system capable of providing pain relief and improvement of the spinal balance in scoliosis patients with different curve types. The disclosed bracing system is a tension-based scoliosis orthosis that comprises an rigid back panel. The three de-rotational supports pads of the back panel are connected to each other, providing facilitation or restriction of certain movements of human spine in the three different anatomical planes, i.e., coronal, sagittal and transverse planes. This scoliosis brace includes inelastic straps connected to the de-rotational supports/pads of the back panel, and the bracing system has different sizes and it can be fitted and adjusted accordingly with scoliosis curve type and patient characteristics.

Compression apparatus for synovial joints and methods of use thereof

Disclosed herein is a compression apparatus useful in treating pain, inflammation, or other conditions of a joint and joint area through use of compression and optionally temperature control. The compression apparatus is configured for physical and functional flexibility in that the apparatus is flexible and can be worn over or under clothing. The compression apparatus is generally suited for support of an ankle joint, a knee joint, a wrist joint, shoulder joint, elbow joint or hip joint depending on size, shape and securement configurations. In one embodiment, the compression apparatus comprises at least one flexible compression member and at least one securement means configured for adjustably providing compression to the joint area of a wearer. In certain embodiments, an apparatus of the present disclosure may comprise temperature-control means, decorative features, devices for visual display of treatment information such as elevation and temperature, as well as other information useful in treatment.

ASSISTING DEVICE FOR WAIST PART

An assisting device for waist part 1 has a waist part mounting portion 2 to be mounted to the waist part W of a user; a lower limb mounting portion 3 to be mounted to a part of a lower limb L1, L2 of the user; a hard frame 4 extending between the waist part mounting portion 2 and the lower limb mounting portion 3; and an elastic body 5 extending from the waist part mounting portion 2 toward the lower limb mounting portion 3 on a back side of the user.

Adjustable back brace

An adjustable length spinal brace includes an elongate belt and an adjustment plate having spaced apart belt passage slits through which the belt is passed and belt engagement members that are pivotally adjustable relative to the plate to engage or disengage the belt. The belt engagement members are engaged with the belt to maintain a desired length of the brace, and are disengaged from the belt to permit adjustment of the length of the brace.

Spinal orthosis, kit and method for using the same

A spinal orthosis includes a rear panel, and first and second belt members securing to the rear panel. The first and second belt members each define a first end secured to a first side of the rear panel and a second end having a foldable portion adapted to fold over a first surface of the first and second belt members and secure to the first surface to reduce a length of the first and second belt members. First and second front closures are secured to the second ends of the first and second belt members, respectively, and arranged for removably securing to one another to form a continuously circumferential loop with the rear panel and the first and second belt members. A kit or method may be provided for sizing the belt members with a sizing device for forming a predetermined distance between the first and second belt members.

Supportive Compression Garment

An improved support system for use with a lower body garment being a pants, short or skirt and preferably as a pair of pants for medical scrubs. The garment has a waistband that comprises a series of layers providing support and/or compression to the wearer. The waistband layer can extend to a typical pant material, or alternatively the pant material can be exterior to the waistband so as to cover the waistband. The supporting material provides additional support to the wearer, for example when standing for a long time such as in a shift of work in a hospital setting.

Panel attachment and circumference adjustment systems for an orthopedic device

A spinal orthosis includes posterior panels arranged with a flat spinal curvature to create a reverse three-point pressure system to the spine. The reverse three-point pressure system relieves pressure on the posterior side of the vertebrae beneficial for certain indications. Various arrangements allow for securing the posterior panel to the spinal orthosis. The spinal orthosis includes a belt member length adjustment system including belt members having end portions reducible in length and a belt panel adapted to secure to the end portion of the belt member reduced in length to form at least in part a belt circumference of the spinal orthosis.
