Disclosed is a media rotation mechanism. The media rotation mechanism may include a housing, a media receiver, and a rotation motor. The housing may define a first opening and a second opening. The media receiver may define a media receiver opening. The rotation motor may be configured to rotate the media receiver between a first position and a second position. The first position may correspond to the media receiver opening facing the first opening. The second position may correspond to the media receiver opening facing the second opening.

Disclosed is a media rotation mechanism. The media rotation mechanism may include a housing, a media receiver, and a rotation motor. The housing may define a first opening and a second opening. The media receiver may define a media receiver opening. The rotation motor may be configured to rotate the media receiver between a first position and a second position. An automated kiosk includes a front panel positioned in front of a conveyor with conveyor slots sized to receive clothing hangers. Dividers separate each conveyor slot from the adjacent conveyor slots, forming a compartment for each conveyor slot. Two doors are positioned in the front panel. An electronic controller moves a conveyor in order to reposition a desired compartment in front of the doors. The doors open inwardly, and are of sufficient length that the extended edge of the doors engages with and overlaps the outer edge of each of the dividers. With each door engaging the divider on each side of the compartment, a user is blocked from being able to access items that are in adjacent compartments.

A system and method for vending digital video discs is provided. A request is received from a user to complete a rental transaction for a first digital video disc. A database is queried to determine whether a quantity of a set of second digital video discs in a vending inventory exceeds a predetermined threshold. A discount offer notification is presented to the user to rent one of the set of second digital video discs, upon determining that the quantity of the set of second digital video discs exceeds the predetermined threshold. A second request from the user to rent one of the second set of digital video discs is received, and one of the set of second digital video discs is vended to the user.

A system and method for vending digital video discs is provided. A request is received from a user to complete a rental transaction for a first digital video disc. A database is queried to determine whether a quantity of a set of second digital video discs in a vending inventory exceeds a predetermined threshold. A discount offer notification is presented to the user to rent one of the set of second digital video discs, upon determining that the quantity of the set of second digital video discs exceeds the predetermined threshold. A second request from the user to rent one of the second set of digital video discs is received, and one of the set of second digital video discs is vended to the user.

Disclosed is an apparatus useful for securely storing and dispensing medications. The apparatus comprises a cabinet, a carousel mounted in the cabinet, and medication trays carried by the carousel. The carousel comprises a plurality of vertically spaced shelves. Each shelf carries a plurality of radially extending dividers dividing the carousel into a plurality of compartments. The compartments are carried by the carousel into close alignment with a vertical slot in a cabinet wall. Each medication tray is sized and shaped to slide radially in and out of a compartment. Each tray has a base and side walls extending upwardly from the periphery of the base to define a peripherally enclosed area to hold medication doses. Fixtures are mounted in the peripherally enclosed area to vertically position card-blister packaged unit medication doses in multiples of five for visual inventory without manual manipulation of the doses, once a tray is removed from a compartment.

A vending machine includes a main unit, and a secondary unit separate from and operably connected to the main unit. The secondary unit includes a refrigerated enclosure for housing pre-packaged food products and an oven for selectively cooking the pre-packaged food products. The main unit includes a transfer mechanism adapted to selectively remove one of the pre-packed food products from the enclosure and transfer the one pre-packaged food product to the oven for cooking. The transfer mechanism is further adapted to remove the cooked one pre-packaged food product from the oven and transfer the cooked one pre-packaged food product to a customer receiving area provided in the main unit.
