A computerized method for integrating message-based services with external execution environments includes receiving from a first external execution environment a request to access message-based services of a messaging software. A processor determines whether the first external execution environment includes a pre-existing relationship with the messaging software. If no, the processor requests access to a second external execution environment on behalf of the first external execution environment. The processor receives a response from the second external execution environment granting the access; and the processor grants the request from the first external execution environment to access the message-based services in the messaging service while integrating services from the second external execution environment to the messaging software. If yes, the processor identifies parameters associated with the pre-existing relationship and grants the request from the first external execution environment.

Integrated Fuel Dispensing and Accounting System

An interface system extends a prior-art multi-pump fuel delivery station so that authorization to activate the fuel delivery pump can be obtained from a remote authorization service over a long-range wireless communication link such as a cellular telephone connection or a satellite connection; and delivered to the interface system over a different, short-range wireless communication link such as a Bluetooth connection or a WiFi connection. After receiving the authorization, a signal to activate a fuel delivery pump is transmitted to a physically separate pump control module over an electrical power line by being coupled onto the power line by a first power line interface, and coupled back off of the power line by a second power line interface. The signal causes the physically separate pump to start or stop operation.

Detection of errors in transaction channels using electronic transaction monitoring

Techniques of detecting errors on a transaction channel. As described herein, nodes that perform actions of a transaction channel automatically generate reception records that memorialize receptions by the nodes of transaction items that represent financial transactions. These reception records can be analyzed to determine whether a node that performs an action in the transaction channel failed to receive a transaction item within an expected time. If a node that performs an action in the transaction channel failed to receive a transaction item within the expected time, an error remediation process may be performed.

Methods of and systems for controlling access to networked devices provided with machine-readable codes scanned by mobile phones and computing devices

A multi-level machine-readable code system and method deployed in an environment supported by a wireless access control system network. The multi-level machine-readable code system including multi-level codes including facility-level codes, site-level codes and device-level codes, that are scanned by mobile computing devices such as mobile smart phones to initiated web-based e-commerce-enabled transactions that allow guest users to select and rent the particular networked devices available for rental and use within a facility, such as, for example, storage lockers, strollers, EVCs, wheelchairs and the like at a site selected within the environment. The wireless access and control system network can automatically assign an available device to the guest user at the selected site. When the guest reads the device-level machine-readable code on a device available for rental at a site, the wireless control access network also enables the guest users to scan the code and rent the device at the selected site and automatically control access to the rented device at the selected site, for access and use in the environment.

ACCESS SYSTEM AND CONTAINER FOR COMMUNAL OBJECTS

Described are methods and systems for accessing shared communal objects. A physical object container holds and protects the objects, keeping them secure and protected for future use. The object container senses the state and status of the objects contained within it. The object container is only openable by authorized users. An information infrastructure backend coordinates the scheduling and usage of objects stored within the object container.
