Self-service parcel cabinet
A self-service parcel cabinet, comprising: a main-body part (1), a sorting apparatus (2), a parking apparatus (3), and a control device. The main-body part is a hollow structure opened at the top. At least part of the hollow structure is formed by multiple self-service parcel lockers (11) surroundingly arranged. The parking apparatus is provided on top of the main-body part and comprises a drone landing pad (31). Provided on the drone landing pad is a channel allowing passing of a parcel delivered by the drone and directly facing the opening at the top. The sorting apparatus is provided within the hollow structure, communicatively connected to the control device, and capable of, when a parcel receiving instruction transmitted by the control device is received, receiving according to the parcel receiving instruction a parcel delivered by the drone, and, when a first sorting instruction transmitted by the control device is received, transferring according to the first sorting instruction the receive parcel into a self-service locker of the self-service cabinet.
A Dispatch System
A fulfilment centre for fulfilling an order of one or more items, wherein the fulfilment centre includes: for storage of the storage; iii) a dispatch system having a plurality of lockers with an interior space for storing items, the interior space being accessible through a first opening exterior of the fulfilment centre and a second opening interior of the fulfilment centre; iv) a door mechanism operable to selectively close the first opening(s) of the lockers exterior of the fulfilment centre and the second opening(s) of the lockers interior of the fulfilment centre; and a locking mechanism configured to lock and unlock the door mechanism.
Garment personalization kiosk with movable system components
Embodiments provide for systems and methods related to kiosks for personalizing a packaged article. The kiosks may also be used for storage, inventory management, retrieval, packaging, and/or personalization of packaged articles. The kiosks discussed herein differ from non-kiosk personalization systems, such as personalization systems installed on a factory or warehouse floor, in that the kiosks are self-contained personalization systems. In some embodiments, the kiosks are portable and can be moved between different sites or events. This portability allows the kiosks to personalize packaged articles for concerts, festivals, conventions, trade shows, and the like.
Time synchronization
A method having the steps of obtaining temporal information communicated to a first device; carrying out one or more of the following tests: a test to determine whether the first device is in a state following an initial operation, a battery replacement or other power outage, or a reset, a test to determine whether a deviation between temporal information of the clock and the communicated temporal information is less than or equal to a threshold which is specified, and a test to determine whether the communicated temporal information has the same date as the temporal information of the clock; and synchronizing the clock using the communicated temporal information if all of one or more defined conditions are satisfied, wherein one of the one or more conditions requires that at least one of the one or more tests carried out has a positive result.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SECURE DELIVERY SYSTEM
A secure delivery system according to various aspects of the present technology comprises a transport box having a storage space, an environmental control unit, a plurality of electrical contacts, and a deployable receiving tray responsive to automated delivery systems. The transport box fits within an interior space of a delivery box having a GPS receiver that provides a geographic delivery location of the delivery box. The delivery box comprises a plurality of corresponding electrical contacts configured to be coupled to the electrical contacts of the transport box to provide power to the transport box. The delivery box may further comprise an electronic lock that is responsive to a delivery box controller circuit configured to operate the electronic lock.
Distributed Smart Locker System
A distributed smart locker system includes a plurality of locker units in a locker cluster. Each locker unit includes: a front panel with a set of inputs for an end user to retrieve an at least one item stored in the locker unit; a back panel with a set of outputs for an operator to place the at least one item in the locker unit; and a computing device with a processor, memory, storage, and wireless networking capability.
Reservation of lock box facilities
A method to operate at least one electronic lock box facility that includes detection of information about at least one lock box unit of a lock box facility of at least one lock box facility in which a shipment associated with a party is to be deposited, by a computing unit, based on a reservation for this lock box facility associated with a party, whereby the reservation information contains lock box type related information that comprises the number of dynamically reserved lock box units of a lock box type, the section of a lock box unit of at least one lock box unit based on the determined, provided information; acquisition of an identifier associated with the shipment to be deposited in the lock box facility by means of detection; and linking of the acquired identifier of the shipment with the selected lock box unit.
Pickup locations with modifiable storage compartment configurations
Storage compartment configurations of pickup locations may be modified (e.g., by dividing larger storage compartments into multiple smaller storage compartments, or vice versa) based on sizes of items to be delivered to the pickup locations, so as to allow more items to be stored with less unused space in each of the storage compartments. Partitions may be positioned (e.g., inserted, moved, removed, etc.) utilizing positioning elements (e.g., rollers, motors, actuators, robotic arms, etc.) for configuring the sizes of each of the storage compartments. Door operations for each of the storage compartments may be modified so as to correspond to the current sizes of the storage compartments, and in some instances multiple doors may be utilized for providing access to larger storage compartments while individual doors may be utilized for providing access to smaller storage compartments.
DISTRIBUTION STATION
A distribution station includes a base, a housing, a rotating shelf, a distribution vehicle, a sorting device, and a control system. The housing is provided on the base, and is provided with a goods access port and an access door. The rotating shelf is provided on the base and located in the housing. The rotating shelf includes a rotating shaft, a transmission belt, a plurality of shelf units, and a driving mechanism. The distribution vehicle enters and exits the housing via the access door and is used to transport goods. The sorting device is provided on the base and located in the housing. The sorting device is used to pick up goods and place the same between the distribution vehicle and the shelf units. The control system is used to control the driving mechanism and the sorting device.
System and method of control of electronic parcel lockers
A system, apparatus, and method for use in delivery of items to a storage unit.
