Computerized apparatus and methods for location-based service provision
Computerized apparatus and methods useful for causing provision of location-based services to users via a user portable wireless computerized device or other device. In one embodiment, the user device establishes a secure communication session with a network server (e.g., proxy process for a service coordinator or provider) to provide user-specific location-based services such as a time-limited rental of a tangible object or space. In one variant, dynamic generation of a response to the user included providing image data relating to provision of the user-specific location-based service, the image data enabling the user to authenticate at least one aspect of the provision of the user-specific location-based service by the third party service provider.
LOCKER SYSTEM
A temperature controlled storage apparatus 8(10), comprising; a plurality of lockable storage spaces, each of the plurality of lockable storage spaces comprising one or more compartments; in which the temperature of each of the one or more compartments is independently controllable to provide either one of: chilled temperature; or frozen temperature; and wherein access to the storage space is remotely programmable.
Method and a device for fast entry and storage of parcels
A parcel terminal system comprising one or more modules and a method are provided to allow fast loading of parcels on storage space of a parcel terminal.
ROBOTIC DELIVERY SYSTEM
Techniques for automatically providing a package for pickup are presented. The techniques can include: receiving, at a publicly-accessible terminal, a code associated with the package; validating the code with data in a database communicatively coupled to the terminal; retrieving, by a robot communicatively coupled to the publicly-accessible terminal, the package from a publicly-inaccessible package staging site; delivering, by the robot, the package to a customer interface repository; obtaining confirmation that the package has been removed from the customer interface repository; and storing data, by at least one server, indicating the package has been removed.
Secure container mutual authentication
Systems and methods for mutual authentication of a user and a container administrator computer system. A container administrator computer system receives a request from a mobile computing device for a user to access a secure container. The request includes a user identifier. The administrator system receives a first authentication factor corresponding to the user. The administrator system authenticates the user by verifying that the first authentication factor matches a first reference authentication factor associated with the user identifier. The administrator system sends a second authentication factor associated with the administrator system to a human-machine interface associated with the secure container or the mobile computing device. The administrator system receives a notification of authentication of the administrator system using the authentication factor. The administrator system transmits an unlock signal to unlock the secure container.
PACKAGE LOCKER UNIT AND PACKAGE DELIVERY MANAGEMENT
A package delivery system for an automated delivery management of one or more packages is provided. The package delivery system may include a package locker unit and a control network. The package locker unit includes at least one adjustable access point, at least one pallet tower and at least one adjustable door assembly slidably. The at least one pallet tower includes a plurality of adjustable racks. The adjustable door assembly slidably coupled to the at least one pallet tower and defines an adjustable access point to access the package from the respective pallet of the respective rack. The control network is configured to facilitate customized automatic operation of the at least one adjustable door assembly while loading and delivery of the one or more packages.
Self-service and video communication terminal
A system and a method are disclosed for providing goods and services for purchase via a self-service and communication terminal unit and providing the ordered goods from a parcel terminal that is in communication with the communication terminal unit, and confirmation of ordered services from the communication unit.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ALERTING FOR A LOW BATTERY STATE OF CHARGE FOR AUTONOMOUS PARCEL LOCKERS
Methods and system for alerting for a low battery state of charge for an autonomous compartments cluster interacting locally with a mobile device via a short distance wireless communication, the autonomous compartments cluster comprising: at least one compartment equipped with a door and an actuator for unlocking the door, a locker module controlling the actuator, and a battery pack powering the locker module and the at least one compartment, characterized in that the locker module comprises a voltage comparator comparing an output voltage provided at the terminal of the battery pack with a reference minimal voltage wherein the voltage comparator is configured to trigger an alert signal for replacing the battery pack when a minimum transitory voltage at the terminals of the battery pack resulting from an energizing of the actuator by a first step-up converter during an unlocking initiation of the door is lower than the reference minimal voltage, and wherein a controller is configured to change a battery status stored in a memory of the locker module from a usable battery status to a low battery status.
Trailer and arrangement for delivery of products
An invention relates to picking, storing, and transporting of products. One objective is to reduce or eliminate manual work, or unnecessary process stages. The invention concerns a trailer (100) for a delivery of the products, wherein the trailer comprises an attachment point (101) for attaching the trailer to a road vehicle, a body with wheels, and a wall (104) attached to the body. The wall includes openings (105, 106) to a trunk that is limited by at least the body and the wall. The trailer comprises closures (109, 110) to cover and disclose the openings, and the trailer is configured to open a first closure (109) in response to a correct identifier. The trailer is further configured to receive a cart to a storing place so that, at the storing place (111), the cart holds a first repository (107) beside the first opening and a second repository (108) beside the second opening.
COMPUTERIZED APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR LOCATION-BASED SERVICE PROVISION
Apparatus and methods for tracking or otherwise accounting for chattel (e.g., personal property such as keys, pocket knives, and the like) at a point of departure such as an airport, bus station, train station, etc., or areas where people congregate (e.g., sporting events, concerts, etc.). In one exemplary embodiment, the apparatus comprises a kiosk adapted for use near a security checkpoint, wherein passengers or patrons can efficiently deposit their items for shipment to their home, travel destination, or third party.
