PIECE GOODS CABINET COMPRISING A PLURALITY OF PIECE GOODS MODULES AND METHOD FOR OPERATING SUCH A PIECE GOODS CABINET
A piece goods cabinet including a plurality of piece goods modules is disclosed. Each piece goods module has a plurality of piece goods compartments. Each piece goods compartment is assigned a closure unit which is displaceable from a closed position into an open position. At least individual piece goods modules within the piece goods cabinet are arranged such that they can be displaced between at least two module positions, at least substantially in the vertical direction and/or at least substantially in at least one horizontal direction. In order that the displacement of piece goods modules of appropriate piece goods cabinets can be simplified further, provision is made for the at least individual displaceable piece goods modules to be connected to mover units of the piece goods cabinet, which are designed to displace the piece goods modules in the piece goods cabinet.
SYSTEM AND METHOD TO ENABLE DELIVERY AND PICK UP OF PACKAGES USING PODS AND UNMANNED VEHICLES
In one example aspect, device provided that s useful to allow delivery, storage, and pick up of goods with drone comprising at least one of: a receptacle; a computing system, a camera; a multiplicity of physical sensors, wherein the multiplicity of physical sensors measure a physical measurement and an environmental measurement, said measurements including: a temperature measurement, a weight measurement, a humidity measurement, one of any other environmental measure measurement, and a motion measurement; a multiplicity of chemical sensors, wherein the multiplicity of chemical sensors detect the presence of a specified chemical; and wherein a set of inputs from the camera, multiplicity of physical sensors and the multiplicity of chemical sensors creates a record of a: a picture, a multiplicity of pictures, a video, a multiplicity of videos, and, a data embodying readings from at least a sensor, and a device communicatively coupled to or more other entities through at least one of the local network and an external network; to perform at least one of the actions of: transmit a set of data to the one or more other entities, receive the set of data from the one or more other entities, transmit a set of commands to the one or more other entities, and receive a set of commands from the one or more other entities, and wherein the one or more entities comprises at least one of a server, an owner device, user device, a device coupled to an unmanned pickup/delivery agent.
Locker system
A temperature controlled storage apparatus includes a plurality of lockable storage spaces. Each of the plurality of lockable storage spaces includes one or more compartments. The temperature of each of the one or more compartments is independently controllable to provide any one of a chilled temperature or a frozen temperature. Access to the storage space is remotely programmable.
Systems and methods for actuating an electronic lock upon payment for delivery services
A system and computer-implemented method includes the operation of detecting, by a payment-on-delivery device, a carrier mobile computing device of a package carrier. The payment-on-delivery device establishes a communications link with the carrier mobile computing device. The payment-on-delivery device receives a carrier mobile device identifier from the carrier mobile computing device. In addition, the payment-on-delivery device presents an access code to the package carrier for actuating the electronic lock to unlock an access point to a delivery location. The payment-on-delivery device then obtains a location of the carrier mobile computing device from a location service associated with the carrier mobile computing device using the carrier mobile device identifier. Furthermore, the payment-on-delivery device transmits a lock command to the electronic lock for actuating the electronic lock to lock the access point based on the location of the carrier mobile computing device.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING LOCKER BASED ON DELIVERY MESSAGE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
Embodiments provide a method for controlling a locker based on a delivery message. In those embodiments, an electronic device obtains a delivery message of a first package that is sent by a server, where the delivery message includes pickup information of the first package and location information of a locker in which the first package is placed, and the pickup information is used to open a pickup box in which the first package is placed in the locker. The electronic device then determines a first area based on the location information, where the locker is located in the first area; and displays a pickup function item when it is detected that the electronic device enters the first area. Still in those embodiments, the electronic device sends a locker opening request to the server when it is detected that a user triggers the pickup function item.
Product/service reservation and delivery facilitation with semantic analysis enabled dialog assistance
A method and system capable of authenticating transactions involving at least one service provider and one or more users who are each in electronic communication. This electronic communication can be, for example, SMS, MMS, e-mail, or online account messaging. It is an aspect of certain embodiments where the transaction is an authentication and/or verification of an entity. Examples of such entities are products, actions, and users.
System and method for delivering packages to customers
In some embodiments, system, apparatuses and methods are provided useful for delivering packages. One such configuration may include storage lockers and a control circuit that detects proximity of delivery agents to a locker, and in response, sends a code to an agent that verifies the agent upon receipt of the code therefrom. In another configuration, the control circuit associates a storage locker with a customer profile, detects a customer approaching and a first authentication aspect, receives a second authentication aspect, and compares the authentication aspects with the customer profile. In another example, a control circuit associates a delivery container with a customer profile and the delivery agents handling the container, and upon receiving a package scan, compares the scan with aspects associated with responsible delivery agents. In another example, a control circuit receives sensed data from a customer and authenticates delivery by comparing the sensed data with delivery agent profiles.
CONTROL METHOD, INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
A control method of controlling, using a distributed ledger, locking or unlocking of one or more storage units, in each of which an item is storable, includes: operating a first smart contract and one or more second smart contracts by a code, stored in the distributed ledger, being executed by a computer, the first smart contract managing the one or more second smart contracts that are in one-to-one correspondence with the one or more storage units; controlling, by each of the one or more second smart contracts, locking or unlocking of a corresponding one of the one or more storage units, the controlling being performed under the management by the first smart contract; and controlling, by the first smart contract, whether to place each of the one or more second smart contracts under the management.
DETECTION DEVICE, MANAGEMENT METHOD AND COMMUNICATION APPARATUS
A detection device includes a first sensor, a second sensor configured to operate with power consumption smaller than that of the first sensor and a controller. The controller obtains a detection result from the second sensor while stopping the first sensor. When a detection result of the second sensor meets a first condition, the controller operates the first sensor to obtain a detection result from the first sensor.
