Systems and methods are provided for mounting flexible displays, such as flexible OLED displays, to electronic gaming machines (EGMs). The flexible displays, including support structures, are relatively rigid once assembled and mounted to an EGM yet allow manufacture of relatively small quantities of custom shaped displays generally curved along single axis or multiple axes. The flexible display is manufactured utilizing thin bendable glass and bendable substrate and/or other similar materials to allow for the bendability of the display. While the bendability of the flexible display is desirable during the manufacture of the electronic gaming machine, it may not be desirable once manufactured and placed on the gaming floor in casino environments.

A diagnostic system for electronic gaming machines (EGMs) includes a power supply, and a diagnostic device in electrical connection with the power supply, the diagnostic device configured for placement within a cabinet of an EGM. The diagnostic device includes an attachment device configured to couple the diagnostic device to the EGM, a sensor array including at least one sensor for sensing a condition associated with the EGM and configured to generate conditions data based on the sensed condition, a communications device configured to transmit the conditions data to a remote location, a memory configured to store the conditions data, and a processor configured to analyze the conditions data and determine a diagnostic evaluation based upon the analyzed conditions data.

A gaming system includes a gaming machine for playing at least one casino wagering game, one or more electronic display devices, and game-logic circuitry. The game-logic circuitry directs at least one of the display devices to display a progressive jackpot, detects, via at least one electronic input device of the gaming machine, a physical item associated with a monetary value that establishes a credit balance, increments the progressive jackpot in response to play of the casino wagering game, directs at least one of the electronic display devices to display an outcome resulting from the casino wagering game, awards the progressive jackpot in response to the displayed outcome being a progressive-winning outcome and/or in response to the progressive jackpot being incremented to a triggering amount, and receives, via at least one of the electronic input devices, a cashout input that initiates a payout from the credit balance.

A gaming signage system may include one or more movable displays. One or more movable displays may present first visual effects while the one or more movable displays are in a first configuration in which at least one game feature presentation device is not viewable. In response to a trigger event indication (which may correspond to a base game event), the movable display(s) may move to a second configuration and reveal the game feature presentation device. The game feature presentation device may be used to present a bonus feature and/or to present a different aspect of the base game. Alternatively, at least a portion of a movable display may be hidden when in a first configuration. At least the portion of the movable display(s) may present a bonus feature and/or a different aspect of the base game when in the second configuration.

A bingo gaming system, machine, and method include a main bingo game, a feature bingo game, a main reel game associated with the main bingo game, and a feature reel game associated with the feature bingo game. The main reel game simulates outcomes of the main bingo game. The feature reel game simulates outcomes of the feature bingo game. A feature bingo game may be triggered by a main bingo game outcome. Disclosed are embodiments of an apparatus having a rotatable wheel, a mechanical annular rotatable bezel overlaying at least a portion of the wheel, and an electronic controller, coupled to the bezel. The bezel is rotatable via manual player input to the bezel. The electronic controller determines a rotational motion of the bezel in response to the manual player input to the bezel. The electronic controller further directs rotation of the wheel in accordance with the determined rotational motion of the bezel.

A gaming machine and method of using it are provided. The gaming machine includes mechanisms to reduce its height for purposes of easing shipping and maintenance. The gaming machine is moveable between and operating position and folded position wherein the height of the gaming machine is less when in the folded position facilitating shipping and standard shipping containers and easing access for subsequent maintenance.

Embodiments of the disclosure provide an improved display system for a gaming system comprising a bank of gaming machines. In particular embodiments, the display system comprises display elements that are spatially arranged relative to one another in a manner such that when an animation is displayed on the display elements, the spatial arrangement of the display elements relative to each other interacts with the animation to provide a greater apparent depth in the animation. In some embodiments, the display system further comprises a display element positioned between each pair of adjacent gaming machines and controlled to display a graphical representation indicative of a level of a jackpot, which representation is updated as players place wagers on the gaming machines. Methods for operating the gaming system comprising elements of the improved display system are also provided.

A gaming machine includes a gaming machine cabinet defining an upper cabinet volume and a cabinet front opening to the upper cabinet volume. A gaming machine panel is mounted on the gaming machine cabinet in a panel operating position in which the gaming machine panel registers with and covers a base area of the cabinet front opening. The gaming machine further includes a translation structure connected between the gaming machine panel and the gaming machine cabinet. The translation structure is operable enable the gaming machine panel to be moved from the panel operating position upwardly to a cabinet open position. In this cabinet open position the gaming machine panel remains supported by the gaming machine cabinet and is removed from the base area of the cabinet front opening.
