The coupling tab may be pivotally or flexibly connected to the main cabinet such that when the signal connectors are connected, the button deck moves into the opening and the locking pin is inserted into the locking pin locator.

The electronic gaming device further includes a latch coupled to the housing that engages and locks the access door in the closed position. An actuator is coupled to the latch for controlling the latch to release the access door. The actuator extends within the internal cavity from the latch and is accessible at a position of the button deck that is spaced from the access door.

Layered display monitors

An electronic gaming machine (EGM) may include one or more movable displays. One or more movable displays may be used to present a base game when in a first configuration. In response to a trigger event, the movable display(s) may reveal a game feature presentation device, such as a stationary display or a set of mechanical reels, which was hidden when the one or more movable displays were in the first configuration. The underlying game feature presentation device may be used to present a bonus feature and/or to present a different aspect of the base game. Alternatively, the movable display(s) may be hidden (e.g., inside the EGM) when in a first configuration, during which time a fixed display portion may be presenting a base game. The movable display(s) may present a bonus feature and/or a different aspect of the base game when in the second configuration.

Lottery ticket dispensing system

A lottery ticket dispensing system includes a cabinet housing and a lottery ticket array insertable into the cabinet housing. The array includes a plurality of individual bins in a stacked configuration. A dispensing unit is inserted into each of the bins and includes a ticket compartment in which a continuous strip of lottery tickets is contained and an automatic separation module in which a leading ticket of the continuous strip of lottery tickets is automatically separated and dispensed from the bin. The bins are connected together in the stacked configuration such that the lottery ticket array is insertable into and removable from the cabinet housing as a single unit. The stacked configuration has opposite sides defined by the sides of the bins. At least one first component of a detachable support system is attached to the opposite sides of the stacked configuration, the first component cooperating with a second component of the detachable support system provided on inner side walls of the cabinet housing.
