ORTHOPEDIC WALKING BOOT HAVING A MECHANICALLY ADJUSTABLE RAMP INSERT
An orthopedic walking boot includes a housing configured to encompass at least a user's foot, a mechanically adjustable ramp insert including a ramp surface and disposed in the housing, an adjusting mechanism configured to adjust an elevation angle of the ramp surface, and a mechanically adjustable lift configured to cause the mechanically adjustable ramp insert to descend within the housing as the ramp surface is elevated such that vertical displacement of the user's foot caused by elevation of the ramp surface is substantially attenuated. Related methods are also provided.

ADJUSTABLE CERVICAL TRACTION ASSEMBLIES FOR PERSON SUPPORT APPARATUSES
A cervical traction assembly for use with a patient support apparatus includes an adjustment carriage track member including a connecting bracket assembly that releasably connects to a mount support member of the patient support apparatus. The adjustment track member includes a track body including a pair of opposing sidewalls that are spaced-apart from each other to define an elongated channel therebetween. Each sidewall includes a guide track that extends along a length of the respective sidewall. A rope angle adjustment carriage is located within the channel. The rope angle adjustment carriage includes a first track engagement member that is received by one of the guide tracks of one of the sidewalls and a second track engagement member that is received by another of the guide tracks of another of the sidewalls. The first track engagement member has a locked configuration that inhibits movement of the rope angle adjustment carriage.

Lumbar traction device
A lumbar traction device for treating a lower back of a user includes a shell that is coupled to and extends from a rear edge of a panel. The shell and the panel are configured to position on a seat and in abutment a backrest of a chair, respectively. A coupling means that extends through a front of the shell is coupled to a plate positioned in the shell. The coupling means is configured to couple to a torso of the user to couple the user to the plate. An actuator, which is positioned in the shell and operationally coupled to the plate, is positioned to selectively raise the plate relative to the seat of the chair. The coupling means is configured to transmit an upward force from the actuator to the torso of the user to place a lumbar region of a spine of the user in traction.

Apparatus for treating lower limb contractures
An apparatus for treating lower limb contractures is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a pair of multi-sectional soles, which are movably affixed to a connector via a pair of arms using fasteners. The pair of soles are configured to support the user's feet. Each sole comprises four flat-solid plates, which are pivotally connected via hinges/fasteners. The four flat-solid plates are configured to cover, support, and align the user's feet. The apparatus further comprises a pair of ankle supports, securely and adjustably affixed to each sole, configured to support the user's ankle and lower leg. The plurality of straps is configured to secure the sole to the user's feet and lower leg while lifting and lowering the feet using additional straps that are coupled to one or more loops of the four-flat solid plates of the soles, thereby treating the limb contractures by facilitating the opportunity for the repetitive movement of every single joint and muscle in the lower limb of a the user.
