System and method for cashless exchange at table games
A system includes a memory storing player positioning information associated with a table gaming environment and a smart table configured to use RFID-enabled chips and RFID sensors configured to detect the presence of RFID-enabled chips, including a dealer scratchpad area. The system also includes a processor configured to (a) detect presence of a player at a player position, (b) receive, from a player computing device, a request to buy into the wagering game for a buy-in value using a funds source from a digital wallet accessed from the player computing device, (c) display, to a dealer, a confirmation that the player is entitled to receive the buy-in value, (d) detect, from the at least one RFID sensor, a chip value within the scratchpad area, (e) compare the chip value to the buy-in value, and (f) display, to the dealer, a confirmation that the chip value matches the buy-in value.
System and method for facilitating a card game
A gaming system includes a table having at least one betting area, at least one camera, at least one antenna and a processing device. The camera captures an image of the betting area, and the antenna receives a signal from at least one RFID-enabled betting chip. The processing device analyzes the image and the signal to identify a value and identity of chips, to calculate a total value of bets based on a sum of the chip values, and to determine authenticity of a chip. A method for playing a modified Baccarat card game includes providing a gaming table having various betting options, receiving one or more Variable Value Tokens from a gambler, determining whether the wager placed in the stage of receiving is a winning wager in the Baccarat game and on the Bigger Win side bet and other side bets (if any), and dispensing a payout.
CASINO SYSTEM
A casino system in a casino using a gaming chip to which an RFID tag storing identification information is attached, comprising a registration device for registering the identification information of the gaming chip to be used in the casino, and a database for storing a list of the identification information registered by the registration device. The list includes status information that indicates whether or not the gaming chip is usable, and the registration device makes the status information usable for the gaming chip that has already been registered.
Portal device and cooperating video game machine
A portal device for a video game includes a pad with different zones that can be illuminated by selectable colors, a toy sensor (e.g., an RFID tag sensor) associated with each zone, a controller and a communications port for communicating with a video game process executing on a game machine. The colors of each zone can be configured to one or a combination of three primary colors during game play, based on the game process. The portal device reacts to placement of tagged toys on zones and the color of the zones during play and provides sensor data to the game process. The game process controls the game state in part based on data from the portal device and in part on other user input.
COMPUTER-OPERATED PERCENTAGE-BASED LOTTERY SYSTEM AND METHOD
An Internet-based, computer-operated, and percentage-based lottery system and method operated by multiple users utilizing an electronic computing device, wherein each of the plurality of users input user-identifying information, a user-desired wagering amount, a user-desired winning percentage, of one of the plurality of varying winning percentages, and a user-desired number of participants, of one of the varying defined limits of participants, to form at least one user lottery pool having the user-desired number of participants therein and randomly selecting a number of lottery winners from the at least one user lottery pool based on the user-desired winning percentage and the user-desired wagering amount.
STORING INFORMATION FROM A VERIFICATION DEVICE AND ACCESSING THE INFORMATION FROM A GAMING DEVICE TO VERIFY THAT THE GAMING DEVICE IS COMMUNICATING WITH A SERVER
A system includes a server, which provides activities and possibly other services to a player through a gaming device. To verify that the gaming device is communicating with the server, information received from a verification device is stored. Thereafter, in response to a request from the gaming device, the stored information is determined and sent to the gaming device via the server
ANTENNA SWITCHING
A switching device can provide a pass-through connection between a first set of reader inputs and antenna inputs. The switching device can disconnect the pass-through connection between the first set of reader inputs from a first reader and the plurality of antenna inputs. The switching device can generate a tuned signal based on the antenna inputs. The switching device can provide the tuned signal to a second set of reader inputs for a second reader.
System to dispatch casino agents to an electronic gaming machine in response to a predefined event at the electronic gaming machine
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to a method for dispatching a person to an electronic gaming machine in response to a predefined event at the electronic gaming machine. A listing of casino agents who may be dispatched is stored on in a database. A communication on a network of gaming machines is received indicating that a casino agent should be dispatched to one of the electronic gaming machines. A signal is automatically sent to a wireless device carried by a person including data that identifies the one electronic gaming device.
Systems and methods of automated linking of players and gaming tokens
A system including an image sensor that captures image data of a gaming table and a player area, and a tracking controller communicatively coupled to the image sensor. The tracking controller detects a player and a token set from the captured image data by applying an image neural network model to the image data to generate at least one key player data element for the player and at least one key token data element for the token set, generates a player data object representing physical characteristics of the player based on the key player data elements, links the player data object to a player identifier of the player, generates a token identifier based on the key token data elements, and links the token identifier to the player data object based on a physical relationship between the player and the token set indicated by the key data elements.
GAMING MACHINE HAVING SECONDARY GAMING CONTROLLER AND PRIMARY AND SECONDARY CREDIT BALANCES
A gaming machine has a main or master gaming controller for presenting primary games based upon wagers of primary credits associated with a primary credit balance. A secondary controller is associated with the gaming machine for presenting secondary games based upon wagers of secondary credits associated with a secondary credit balance. The secondary controller may effectuate transfers of credits between the primary and secondary credit balances.
