Electronic gaming system and method of providing progressive jackpot play
A gaming system is provided, including a jackpot server and a gaming server. The jackpot server accumulates respective contributions from gaming client devices into a progressive jackpot. The gaming server presents wagering games to a player on a gaming client device. The wagering games include a first wagering game having a progressive jackpot component, and a second wagering game not having a progressive jackpot component. The gaming server receives a jackpot token from the player, including a token identification associated with the player and a progressive jackpot identification correlating to a token progressive jackpot. A wager is received for the second wagering game, which is conducted such that the player participates in the token progressive jackpot. The gaming server transmits a message to the jackpot server, including a portion of the wager as a contribution to the token progressive jackpot and an outcome of the second wagering game.
Mission functionality
This disclosure relates to devices, systems, and methods include an electronic gaming device management system including a memory including one or more promotional gaming structures, one or more processors configured to implement the one or more promotional gaming structures, where the one or more promotional gaming structures includes a first promotional gaming structure relating to a first gaming site.
Layered display monitors
An electronic gaming machine (EGM) may include one or more movable displays. One or more movable displays may be used to present a base game when in a first configuration. In response to a trigger event, the movable display(s) may reveal a game feature presentation device, such as a stationary display or a set of mechanical reels, which was hidden when the one or more movable displays were in the first configuration. The underlying game feature presentation device may be used to present a bonus feature and/or to present a different aspect of the base game. Alternatively, the movable display(s) may be hidden (e.g., inside the EGM) when in a first configuration, during which time a fixed display portion may be presenting a base game. The movable display(s) may present a bonus feature and/or a different aspect of the base game when in the second configuration.
Method for a gaming system
The present disclosure relates to a computer implemented method performed by a gaming system. In particular, the present disclosure relates to a scheme for further improving an attraction power of a game provided in relation to the gaming system. The present disclosure also relates to a corresponding gaming system and a computer program product.
METHOD, SYSTEM, AND TABLE FOR CONDUCTING A PLAYER-BANKED POKER GAME
A method of providing a player-banked poker game on a specialized table that includes providing a card playing table with a card playing surface positioned above a support surface and a plurality of buttons positioned around the card playing table and communicatively coupled to an electronic display positioned above the card playing surface. Next, wagers are placed, hole and community cards are dealt to any players participating in the player-banked poker game. After dealing the community cards, a timer is initiated, whereby any player desiring to play will be required to modulate one of the plurality of buttons to cause a visual depiction on the electronic display of the same. Then, for those players who have modulated the button, their cards are compared to determined who wins according to a preset poker hand hierarchy.
Gaming system having multiple gaming machines which provide bonus awards
A gaming system including a central server linked to a plurality of gaming machines and a plurality of bonus awards. The central server monitors wagers on the gaming machines. Based at least in part on the wagers the central server determines when bonus events will occur and which gaming machine(s) will provide the bonus awards. In one embodiment, the central server determines which gaming machine will provide a primary bonus award and any secondary bonus awards. In one embodiment, the number of secondary bonus awards is determined based on the number of active gaming machines. The selected gaming machine then determines a component of or the amount of the bonus award to be provided to the gaming machine selected by the central server.
Method and system for operating instances of a game
Disclosed is a computer-implemented method of (and system for) operating instances of a game having a plurality of game positions that can be occupied by players, such as a poker-type game. The method comprises assigning a player a plurality of weights relating to game positions, where each weight indicates a bias towards placement of the player at a game position. When a player has played in a first game at a given position, the weights are updated to indicate an altered bias towards placement at each position. The player is then assigned to a second game based on the updated weights.
Metamorphic persistent symbols using random probability distribution
According to some implementations, when a triggering symbol lands in a defined area of a slot game display during an instance of a base game, there is a chance that the triggering symbol may change to a new symbol. If so, the new symbol may be held in the defined area and may persist during one or more additional purchased base game instances. The new symbol may persist if at least one additional triggering symbol lands in the defined area in subsequent bought games. Each additional triggering symbol may automatically change to a new symbol as the additional triggering symbol lands in the defined area of the slot game display. Whether the triggering symbol will change to a new symbol may involve a random component. In some examples, the greater the number of triggering symbols, the greater the probability the triggering symbol will change to the new symbol.
GAME APPARATUS, GAME METHOD AND GAME PROGRAM
A game apparatus having a symbol arrangement device; a change condition determination device; an area range changing device; and a specific reward granting device. The symbol arrangement device arranges a plurality of symbols which are different in type. The change condition determination device determines, based on the plurality of symbols arranged by the symbol arrangement device, whether or not there is satisfied at least an area change condition for changing a range of a symbol-arranging area on which the plurality of symbols can be arranged by the symbol arrangement device. The area range changing device changes the range of the symbol-arranging area in case that the change condition determination device determined that there is satisfied the area change condition. The specific reward granting device grants a specific reward where at least a specific range condition that the range of the symbol-arranging area is changed into a specific range.
Identifying idle gaming machines
A method for monitoring wagering machines and transmitting indications of idle wagering game machines is described herein. The method can include monitoring, at a wagering game server, credit meters of a plurality of wagering game machines. The method can further include determining, at the wagering game server based on the monitored credit meters, that a wagering game machine of the plurality of wagering game machines is idle. The method can further include transmitting, to a mobile device via a communications network, an indication that the wagering game machine is idle, the indication including an incentive available in exchange for gameplay on the wagering game machine.
