Emergency responder alert assembly
An emergency responder alert assembly includes an alert housing that is mountable at a location which is associated with a residence such that the alert housing is visible to emergency responders. A plurality of light emitters is provided and each of the light emitters is coupled to the alert housing for visually alerting the emergency responders that the residence is the location to which the emergency responders have been dispatched. A pendant actuate unit is movably integrated into a pendant and each of the light emitters is turned on when the pendant actuate unit is actuated by the user. A desktop actuate unit is in remote communication with the plurality of light emitters and each of the light emitters is turned on when the desktop actuate unit is actuated by the user.
VISUAL SIGNALING SYSTEM
A visual signaling system includes smart signage with a set of three or more lights visible from a single direction. Activation of the lights in a first pattern indicates a hazard and for individuals to move away from the sign. Activation of the lights in a second pattern indicates safety and for individuals to move toward the sign. Activation of the lights in a third pattern indicates a need for caution and for individuals to refrain from approaching the sign. The visual signaling system may include a plurality of smart signs which display different patterns on different signs depending on the location of each sign relative to the hazard, thereby guiding individuals away from the hazard.

HEARING ASSISTANCE DEVICES WITH CONTROL OF OTHER DEVICES
Embodiments herein relate to hearing assistance devices that can control other devices based on hearing assistance device events and/or status. In an embodiment, a hearing assistance system includes a hearing assistance device that can include a control circuit, a microphone in electrical communication with the control circuit, an electroacoustic transducer for generating sound in electrical communication with the control circuit, and a power supply circuit. The hearing assistance device can be configured to initiate sending a hearing accommodative command to a separate controllable device upon occurrence of a hearing assistance device event. The hearing assistance device event can be raised by detection of at least one of the hearing assistance device not being worn by the subject, the hearing assistance device in a not-in-use operating state, the hearing assistance device entering a recharging mode, and the hearing assistance device entering a shut-down sequence. Other embodiments are also included herein.
System and Method of Analyzing Duct Pressure within a Pipe
A system and method of analyzing duct pressure within a pipe allows for monitoring and detecting vacuum pressure of gases. The system includes a pressure monitor and a target duct. The pressure monitor preferably includes an alarm light, a speaker, a sensing light, an alert indicator, and a battery alert. The method begins by periodically capturing a plurality of pressure readings inside the target duct with the pressure monitor. Each pressure reading is logged with the pressure monitor. Each pressure reading is compared to each situational alert with the pressure monitor to identify at least one matching alert for at least one specific reading. The matching alert is from the plurality of situational alerts. The specific reading is from the plurality of pressure readings. The matching alert is visually and/or audibly outputted with the pressure monitor, if the matching alert is identified for the specific reading.
