Locker system for condition-based storing and return of an item

In certain embodiments, condition-based storing and return of an item associated with a user may be facilitated via a locker system. In some embodiments, attribute information indicating attributes of an item placed in the locker system may be obtained, and the attribute information may be processed to determine a categorization of the item. In response to the categorization satisfying one or more categorization conditions, product/service information related to a product or service may be provided for presentation to the user. In response to receiving user acceptance of the product or service, an item return condition may be assigned to the item. In response to the user satisfying the item return condition, access rights to the item may be enabled for the user.

A method performed by a sensor device includes detecting a motion of the sensor device and transmitting a notification of the motion. A method performed by a control device includes receiving, from the sensor device, a notification of a motion of the sensor device, and generating, via a user interface, an indication of the motion of the sensor device.

First position information indicating positions of approaching people nearing merchandise is acquired. Second position information indicating a position of a subject person who has stretched an arm out towards the merchandise among the approaching people, is detected. A movement action performed on the merchandise is detected. An ID of a person corresponding to the subject person who performed the detected movement action is specified based on a positional relationship between the first position information and the second position information.

Object detection and management

A mat includes a receiving surface, a transceiver, and a computer. The computer is programmed to cause the transceiver to transmit a beacon, including one or both of a mat identifier and location, upon detecting an approaching delivery vehicle. The computer is programmed to, upon detecting placement of an object on the receiving surface, transmit a confirmation message.

ACTION DETECTION DURING IMAGE TRACKING

A system includes a sensor, a weight sensor, and a tracking subsystem. The tracking subsystem receives an image feed of top-view images generated by the sensor and weight measurements from the weight sensor. The tracking subsystem detects an event associated with an item being removed from a rack in which the weight sensor is installed. The tracking subsystem determines that a first person or a second person may be associated with the event. In response to determining that the first or second person may be associated with the event, buffer frames are stored of top-view images generated by the sensor during a time period associated with the event. The tracking subsystem then determines, using at least one of the stored buffer frames and a first action-detection algorithm, whether an action associated with the event was performed by the first person or the second person.

Retail merchandise hook with radio transmission

A signal-emitting retail display device that includes a wire having a top portion and a bottom portion, the top portion configured to support a label holder, the bottom portion configured to store one or more retail items. The signal-emitting retail display device also has an electronic unit that includes an emitter. The emitter is configured to emit an audible alarm or warning signal, and configured to wirelessly transmit a signal to a remotely-located alarm box indicative of the audible alarm or warning signal. The wire is electrically coupled to the electronic unit such that the wire functions as an antenna for the transmission of the signal to the alarm box.

CUSTOM RACK FOR SCALABLE POSITION TRACKING SYSTEM

A rack for a scalable tracking system includes weight sensors disposed on shelves that hold items. The weight sensors detect the weight of the items and communicates signals indicating that weight to a circuit board positioned in the rack. The circuit board communicates these detected weights to a weight server that determines, based on these weights, whether items were removed from the shelves.

The invention disclosed here is a display system for managing power and security for a plurality of hand-held electronic devices sold to consumers in a retail location. The display includes features that allow power to be supplied to individual devices and security sensors without continuous hard wiring or multi-conductor retractor cables. The display also allows for individual security alarms to be triggered when a theft occurs. Security alarm conditions are preferably triggered via wireless signals.

LIFE VEST CONTAINER DEVICE

The invention relates to a life vest container device, in particular aircraft seat life vest container device, for a life vest unit, with a life vest container comprising an accommodation unit that has an accommodation space as well as an access opening to the accommodation space, and with a monitoring device.

It is proposed that the monitoring device is at least configured to capture a change of at least one characteristic via at least one electric and/or electronic signal.
