Outdoor furniture monitoring
A method includes, receiving, by a monitoring server, weather data that corresponds to at least one weather condition at a location where a monitoring system monitors an item that is located at an outdoor location of a property and that includes a motion beacon, based on the received weather data, determining a motion tolerance for determining whether a force other than weather likely caused movement of the item, receiving, from the motion beacon, motion data that indicates motion of the item, comparing the motion data to the motion tolerance, based on comparing the motion data to the motion tolerance, determining whether to generate a monitoring system event indicating that a force other than weather likely caused the movement of the item, and performing the monitoring system event indicating that a force other than weather likely caused the movement of the item.
Object display frame, data processing method, device, equipment and system
Provided are a display frame for displaying objects, and an object processing method, device, apparatus, and system. The display frame includes: a lock assembly configured to lock an object on the display frame, the locked object being touchable by a user; a graphic code scanner configured to scan a graphic code to perform resource transfer for the locked object; a circuit configured to send the scanned graphic code to a server for performing identity verification on the user, and when the identity verification succeeds, initiate the resource transfer for the locked object, wherein the circuit is configured to send to the lock assembly an unlocking signal for controlling opening of the lock assembly when the resource transfer has been successfully performed, and in response to the unlocking signal, the lock assembly is configured to be opened to disengage the object locked from the display frame.
Theft detection system
A method includes supporting, by a support, a bag containing one or more items of an order and detecting, by a sensor coupled to an end of the support, a weight of the bag and the one or more items when the bag is suspended on the support such that the weight of the bag and the one or more items is exerted on the support. The method also includes comparing, by a hardware processor, the detected weight to an expected weight of the order and communicating, by the hardware processor, an alert when the expected weight is unequal to the detected weight.
Automated container kiosk
Apparatuses, methods, systems, and program products are disclosed for an automated container kiosk. An apparatus includes a request module configured to receive a request over a data network to unlock a door of a container. An apparatus includes a payment module configured to determine whether one or more payment conditions is satisfied for one or more items within a container. An apparatus includes a security module configured to, in response to determining that one or more payment conditions is satisfied, receive unlock information for unlocking a door of a container and enable one or more security measures for monitoring activity within the container.
Display for hand-held electronics
The invention disclosed here is a display system for managing power and security for a plurality of hand-held electronic devices sold to consumers in a retail location. The display includes features that allow power to be supplied to individual devices and security sensors without continuous hard wiring or multi-conductor retractor cables. The display also allows for individual security alarms to be triggered when a theft occurs. Security alarm conditions are preferably triggered via wireless signals.
Action detection during image tracking
A system includes a sensor, a weight sensor, and a tracking subsystem. The tracking subsystem receives an image feed of top-view images generated by the sensor and weight measurements from the weight sensor. The tracking subsystem detects an event associated with an item being removed from a rack in which the weight sensor is installed. The tracking subsystem determines that a first person or a second person may be associated with the event. In response to determining that the first or second person may be associated with the event, buffer frames are stored of top-view images generated by the sensor during a time period associated with the event. The tracking subsystem then determines, using at least one of the stored buffer frames and a first action-detection algorithm, whether an action associated with the event was performed by the first person or the second person.
STOREFRONT DEVICE, STOREFRONT MANAGEMENT METHOD, AND PROGRAM
First position information indicating positions of approaching people nearing merchandise is acquired. Second position information indicating a position of a subject person who has stretched an arm out towards the merchandise among the approaching people, is detected. A movement action performed on the merchandise is detected. An ID of a person corresponding to the subject person who performed the detected movement action is specified based on a positional relationship between the first position information and the second position information.
DELIVERY PACKAGE ALARM SYSTEM
A delivery package alarm is described. The delivery package alarm includes a body portion, a weight sensor coupled to and supported by the body portion, and a display coupled to the body and providing information about status of the device. The delivery package alarm also includes at least one electrical connection for an extension grid for holding and sensing additional packages and an audio output device coupled within the body. The delivery package alarm further includes a processing device within the body and configured with computer software to identify, based on information from the weight sensor, the presence of a package being delivered, and the processing device configured to detect when the package is removed and produce an alarm sound through the audio output.
DOORBELL COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
The disclosure includes a doorbell system having a doorbell, a doorbell housing, a visitor detection system, and a chime. The visitor detection system can be coupled to the doorbell housing and can include at least one of a camera and a motion detector. The doorbell can also comprise a first low-energy transceiver and a first high-energy transceiver that can be coupled to the doorbell housing. The first and second low-energy transceivers and the first and second high-energy transceivers can be configured to transmit data.
DOORBELL PACKAGE DETECTION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Delivery parcel detection systems can include a doorbell having a first wireless communication system and a parcel holding system configured for placement in an entryway. The doorbell can be communicatively coupled to the parcel holding system. The parcel holding system can comprise a sensor configured to detect a delivery parcel located on the parcel holding system. Systems can include a first communication sent from the parcel holding system to the doorbell in response to the parcel holding system detecting an arrival, a movement, or a removal of the delivery parcel. Systems can also include a second communication sent from the doorbell to a remote computing device in response to the doorbell receiving the first communication.
