Driver facts behavior information storage system
Methods and systems for tracking user behavior, the user behavior including one or more of: one or more user actions and one or more user interactions with a vehicle. A storage system stores the user behavior, where the tracked user behavior is associated with a driver and the storage system is capable of storing the tracked behavior for the driver from a plurality of vehicles.
Security and Tracking Systems and Associated Methods
Security and tracking systems disclosed herein include a server coupled with a database, a computing device coupled with the database and including a display, and a wearable recording device (device) configured to record audio and video, the device having an identifier associated with the user through the database. One or more user interfaces are displayed on the display and include one or more inputs configured to associate the identifier with the user through the database. The wearable recording device may be an earring. Some security and tracking systems include a tracking device (tracker) having at least one sharp end, the tracker configured to be insertable into a hem or fold of a clothing item, the tracker having an identifier associated with the user through the database using inputs on one or more user interfaces displayed on the display, the tracker including a visual display of the identifier.
Unattended occupant alert system
An unattended occupant alert system includes a car seat that may be positioned in a vehicle. A child is selectively seated in the car seat and the car seat has a pair of shoulder straps. An electronic device is included and the electronic device is carried by a caregiver. An alarm unit is coupled between the shoulder straps to selectively and removably attach the shoulder straps together. In this way the alarm unit retains the child in the car seat and the alarm unit is turned on when the shoulder straps are attached together. The alarm unit is in thermal communication with an interior of the vehicle to detect a temperature in the vehicle. Additionally, the alarm unit is in electrical communication with the electronic device. The electronic device emits an alert when the alarm unit is turned on and the alarm unit detects a temperature that exceeds a trigger temperature. In this way the alarm unit alerts the caregiver to a potential environmental danger for the child.
CHILD SAFETY IN A VEHICLE ALERT SYSTEM AND METHOD
An alert system to assist in child safety in a vehicle includes a seat belt buckle insert adapted to be inserted between the male and female parts of a standard safety belt found in most automobiles or for a child car safety seat. It may also include a portable receiver device designed to be carried by a vehicle operator. The seat belt buckle insert detects whether the seat belt has been buckled and the temperature is within an acceptable range, as well as the approximate distance between the seat belt buckle insert and portable receiver device. The seat belt buckle transmits information gathered to the portable receiver device and triggers alerts notifying the vehicle operator of a child's safety status.
Vehicle occupant detection system
A vehicle occupant detection system including at least one weight sensing pad, at least one infrared sensor, and at least one motion sensor disposed within an automobile. Each of the at least one weight sensing pad, the at least one infrared sensor, and the at least one motion sensor is in operational communication with each of a battery and a computer system of the automobile. The computer system is configured to activate at least one of a horn, an alarm, an engine, at least one power window, a wireless communication with a remotely disposed fob, a wireless text communication with a remotely disposed personal electronic device, and a cellular communication with an emergency responder when at least one of the at least one infrared sensor, the at least one weight sensing pad, and the at least one motion sensor detects a passenger disposed within the vehicle.
Monitoring method and related device for intelligent monitoring system
A monitoring method and a device for an intelligent monitoring system includes establishing a Bluetooth low energy (BLE) link between a front-end monitoring device and a back-end monitoring device; receiving, by the front-end monitoring device by using the BLE link, a first body temperature value sent by the back-end monitoring device; measuring, by the front-end monitoring device, body temperature of a monitoring person to obtain a second body temperature value; and determining, by the front-end monitoring device according to a variation of the first body temperature value relative to the second body temperature value, whether first prompt information needs to be generated.
Intelligent vehicle occupancy monitoring system
A Bluetooth based vehicular internal monitoring device for preventing or mitigating the likelihood of leaving a living entity behind within an unattended vehicle with an interior exhibiting life threatening environmental conditions. The system leverages ultra-low powered micro sensors, and open source communication systems to convey data acquired by a number of remote monitoring apparatuses and a head unit controller. The system is activated using a remote controller area network device attached to the factory installed controller area network system to detect the presence of a driver or caregiver exiting the vehicle when the living entity is present within the vehicle. Should the driver side door open with the living entity within the vehicle, the head unit controller alarms to notify the driver of such. Integration with vehicle telematic services enables delivery of alerts and information to parents, caregivers, emergency contacts, and emergency responders.
Bed with embedded smart sensors
A smart crib is provided that includes a horizontal support platform and one or more vertical surfaces connected thereto that enclose a space above the horizontal support platform and/or define a space above the horizontal support platform. The horizontal support platform and/or the vertical surfaces may include one or more sensors that can be used to learn behavior of the crib occupant and/or determine conditions of the occupant and/or environment of the crib and/or the crib's surrounding area. The crib may receive responses from a client device and/or automatically act upon a detected condition in the crib or with the occupant.
Network based reunification management using portable devices
Computing device(s) are configured for managing the reunification of students with parents during an emergency or a drill for a simulated emergency. The reunification of students with guardians may be managed through the operations of various user interfaces (UIs) presented on the device(s). Different UIs may be configured to support different personnel performing different roles in the reunification process. The UIs may include one or more of a student supervisor UI, a location supervisor UI, a runner UI, a guardian greeter UI, a reunification officer UI, or an incident commander UI. The various UIs enable different personnel to track the location and status of individuals, such as students and guardians, during various stages of a reunification process, enable personnel to dynamically update a centralized database with current information regarding the location and status of individuals, and view real time information regarding the location and status of individuals.
Method and apparatus for providing reminder of occupant
A method and apparatus for providing reminder of occupant status are provided. The method includes in response to detecting rear passenger door of vehicle has been opened, determining whether vehicle is in first power mode or second power mode; in response to determining that vehicle is in first power mode, setting timer corresponding to time limit for detecting transition from first power mode to second power mode; in response to detecting transition from first power mode to second power mode and timer being unexpired, turning on setting to output reminder of an occupant; in response to determining that vehicle is in second power mode, turning on setting to output reminder of occupant; and in response to detecting transition from second power mode to first power mode, outputting reminder of occupant if setting to output reminder of occupant is turned on. The method may provide reminders of rear seat occupants.
