An electronic patient monitoring system and method of operation that includes one or more generally non-metal, tamper-resistant patient identification and monitoring devices, an observer transmitter/receiver device configured to receive and detect one or more beacon signals that exceed a predetermined threshold from at least one of the not easily removable patient identification and monitoring devices, set a time to hold open a window for a response on the transmitter/receiver device, and send a request for information to the observer with the transmitter/receiver device, and a central computer system. Each of the transmitter/receiver device and the central computer system, including, at least, a computer processor, communications components and system software to communicate with the observer transmitter/receiver device at specified/predetermined time intervals to receive observer- and patient-specific information.
MONITORING DEVICE AND METHODS OF USE
A monitoring system and related methods are disclosed. The system has a first apparatus associated with a living target, a second apparatus associated with a protected individual, and a third apparatus associated with a community individual. The first apparatus has a lock for fixing the first apparatus to the living target, a tamper-evidencing mechanism, mechanisms for monitoring a GPS location of the first apparatus, determining the first apparatus is within at least one of a first threshold distance from the second apparatus or a first threshold distance from a pre-set GPS location, warning the living target responsive to the determining the first apparatus is within the at least one of the first threshold distance from the second apparatus or the first threshold distance from the pre-set GPS location, determining the first apparatus is in a banned location, and emitting a debilitating sound.
System and method of wirelessly tracking a walking assistance tool
A system and method of wirelessly tracking a walking assistance tool notifies a user from escaping past a safe perimeter and monitors the location of the walking assistance tool with respect to the user. The system includes a wearable device, a locator tag, and a walking assistance tool. The method begins by tracking a current device location with the wearable device, and a current tag location is tracked with the locator tag. The current tag location is relayed from the location tag to the wearable device. A distance difference is calculated between the current device location and the current tag location with the wearable device. A separation alert is outputted with the wearable device, if the distance is greater than or equal to a proximal distance threshold. A desertion alert is outputted with the wearable device, if the current device location is outside of a geofenced area.
System for monitoring and maintaining separation
A system for maintaining inter-object separation between different objects such as animals, machinery, or people, that uses distance signaling to provide and maintain separation via correction activities that may also be used to keep the first two objects at a prescribed distance from a third object.
AUTOMATED SOCIAL DISTANCE MONITORING USING A DEPTH-SENSING CAMERA SYSTEM
Automated systems and methods for social distance monitoring are described, utilizing a depth camera configured with a field of view having at least two objects of interest therein and configured to generate depth camera data for a processor that determines a distance between the objects of interest as compared with social distancing rules to assess compliance with such social distancing rules.
Systems, methods, and apparatuses for alerting users to maintain physical distancing
A method for alerting a user on an electronic device is described. The method includes identifying a signal at an ultrasound transmission frequency received at a first electronic device from a second electronic device. Further, the method includes receiving timing information corresponding to an exchange of an ultrasound transmission between the first electronic device and the second electronic device. Furthermore, a first distance value between the first electronic device and the second electronic device is computed by performing a time of flight estimation using the timing information. Furthermore, the first distance value is refined by using an output of a machine learning model to determine a second distance value. Furthermore, the method includes generating an alert based on the comparison of the second distance value with a predefined threshold distance value. In some examples, the alert can be indicative of a violation of a physical distancing norm in an environment.
SMART MULTIPURPOSE ANTI-COLLISION SUIT AND SKI RESORT SAFETY SYSTEM
A ski resort safety system and method. A ski resort comprises a piste (300). The ski resort safety system comprises: an anti-collision suit (1), wherein the anti-collision suit (1) is worn by a skier and comprises an inflation device (100) and a control device (200), the inflation device (100) is configured to inflate the anti-collision suit (1) under the control of the control device (200), and the control device (200) is configured to detect the condition of the skier, and when the skier encounters a danger, trigger the inflation device (100) to inflate the anti-collision suit (1), and is configured to transmit a danger signal when detecting the dangerous condition of the skier; and relay devices (301), wherein the relay devices (301) are arranged along the piste (300) at a certain interval so as to receive the danger signal, and transmit a trigger signal to other skiers (2′) on the piste (300). By triggering the anti-collision suits (1) of other skiers (2′) located below an out-of-control skier (2), the out-of-control skier (2) per se can be protected, and other skiers (2′) are also effectively prevented from being accidently damaged.
Proximity Separation Alert System
A system for alerting a user when a preset distance between any of a plurality of wireless transceiver devices or a secondary client device such as a smartphone is achieved. Each of the wireless transceiver devices are pairable to each other and to the secondary client device. Each of the wireless transceiver devices may be placed on or worn by a person or object to be tracked. Once a preset distance is achieved between any of the wireless transceiver devices or between any of the wireless transceiver devices and the secondary client device, each of the wireless transceiver devices is configured to alert the user that the preset distance was breached. The system may employ a software application for coordinating the system and tracking separation and other related data collected by each of the wireless transceiver devices.
System for continuously determining location of electronic tags with methods to achieve low power consumption
A position tracking system for Tags to collect relative proximity to other Tags using received signal strength, with methods to reduce power consumption with controlled degradation in overall system performance such as location accuracy and frequency of location updates. Configurable parameters for control of tag functions facilitate performance tradeoffs against application requirements. System architecture using mobile phone and gateway for uploading data enables efficient upload of tag data without user intervention. Applications of the disclosure include self-quarantine, contact tracing, mother-infant pairing, location history tracking, and personnel-asset usage monitoring.
SENSORY SYSTEM
A sensory system includes a first band adapted to be worn by a first user, and a second band adapted to communicate with the first band and worn by a second user. Further, each of the first band and the second band is associated with a category.
