SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR HEALTH MONITORING AND PROVIDING EMERGENCY SUPPORT
Systems and methods for providing a health monitoring and emergency response service are provided. Each element in a plurality of data elements is obtained from a health monitoring device connected to a corresponding subject in a plural of subjects. An alert is triggered through analysis of the data element or manually triggered by the subject or a subject's circle of support. The subject or one or more members of the circle of support of the subject verifies or rejects the alert. The alert is sent to a remote monitoring alarm center and emergency responders are dispatched.
Determining responder closest to downed responder
A monitoring unit for wireless communication with a plurality of self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) units configured to form a network is provided. The monitoring unit includes a communication interface and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to receive, via the communication interface, a plurality of updates from each of the SCBA units where each update includes information indicating at least one communication link quality to at least one other SCBA unit. The processing circuitry is further configured to determine at least one distance from each SCBA unit to at least one other SCBA unit that is one hop away in the network based at least in part on the communication link quality. The processing circuitry is further configured to cause the determined at least one distance to be displayed.
Baby Hoop
A programmable electronic, analog or digital intelligent bracelet device consisting of one or more units thought out to aid in the prevention of infant deaths or injuries due to parents forgetting their children while in the car or while conducting other activities. Device may also be used to monitor patients with Alzheimer and other similar conditions.
METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND APPARATUSES FOR PRESENCE DETECTION
Methods, systems, and apparatuses for managing a wireless network are described herein. A wireless network may include a gateway device, an access point, and a group of client devices. An analytics engine may determine a signal characteristic data for a client device, which may indicate network telemetry data for each of the client devices or associated locations during a time period. The analytics engine may utilize a trained classifier to determine that a signal characteristic indicated by the signal characteristic data for a client device satisfies a threshold.
CHILD AND PET MONITORING SYSTEM FOR USE IN VEHICLES
A monitoring system for determining whether the child or pet has been left unattended within the vehicle. The system may include a vehicle device having a monitoring platform, an alarm switch, and an alert device, which may emit an alarm if a first sensor detects the presence of the child or pet and a second sensor detects that the vehicle is in an off state. The system further may include a portable alert device that detects its location relative to the vehicle device, and emits an alarm if it is located outside a predetermined zone surrounding the monitoring platform. In another embodiment, the system may include a vehicle device having a sensor that detects whether the vehicle transitions from an on state to an off state and an alert device that emits an alarm if the sensor detects that the vehicle transitions to the off state.
Method and apparatus for obtaining location information after transitioning between modes of communications
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, monitoring, by a device, a synchronization signal generated by at least one anchor of a plurality of anchors located in a network, while engaged in a network communications mode. The disclosure further includes detecting an inability to sense the synchronization signal generated by the at least one anchor of the plurality of anchors for a number of frames and configuring the device to transition to peer-to-peer communications. The subject disclosure also addresses monitoring for a presence of the synchronization signal generated by the network of anchors, while engaged in peer-to-peer communications, to determine whether to transition back to a network communications mode. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Method, system, and device for protecting vehicle occupants
A system, method, and device for protecting a vehicle occupant over a computerized network. There is an electronic seat pad with an occupant sensor, a driver sensor control module that detects proximity a driver's portable electronic computing device relative to the vehicle; and a key-location sensor that detects proximity of a vehicle key to the vehicle. There is a system management module that determines alert statuses and sends alert and safety notifications to a remote notification device, which automatically registers an alert if a threshold level of safety notifications are not received. There may be pressure, temperature, signal strength, CO2, IR, and other sensors. There is a state library that may be updated to identify additional dangerous states based on sensor readings.
Antitheft system of mobile robot
An antitheft system of a user terminal module and a mobile robot capable of being used as a shopping cart are disclosed. The antitheft system includes: a user terminal module generating terminal location data comprising location coordinates; a mobile robot assisting in driving through conversion of a drive mode into a preset drive mode depending upon a location of the user terminal module and a distance from the mobile robot to the user terminal module while generating and outputting robot location data comprising location data thereof in real time; and a monitoring device monitoring locations of the user terminal module and the mobile robot in real time and controlling the terminal module and the mobile robot to perform an antitheft operation depending upon a region in which the terminal module and the mobile robot are placed, thereby improving reliability by preventing theft and loss of the user terminal module and the mobile robot.
Monitoring and Signaling System and Related Method to Prevent the Abandonment of Infants and/or Pets in Vehicles
A monitoring and signaling system is provided that may include at least one safety device for a vehicle which can be coupled to a seat for infants or to an item for the boot for pets or to a pet collar, configured to generate an output signal indicative of the presence of an infant or a pet on the seat or in the boot or of the fact that the pet wears the collar; a first signaling device, coupled to the safety device for a vehicle and configured to emit first signals in sequence when the output signal indicates the presence of the infant or of the pet in the vehicle; and a second signaling device, couplable to a vehicle and configured to emit second signals in sequence when coupled to the vehicle. The system may further include a mobile device configured to: receive pairs of signals each formed by a first and a second signal; determine, for each pair, a first and a second distance; compare the values of the first and the second distance with a first and a second reference distance, respectively; detect, for each received pair of signals, whether the system alternately operates in a proximity condition, a distance condition, a first intermediate condition or a second intermediate condition; generate, in the event of the detection means detecting the distance condition, different monitoring signals, depending on the fact that the distance condition has been detected after the detection of the first or the second intermediate condition.
