SYSTEMS FOR TRACKING MEDICATIONS
The present disclosure relates to integrated systems, methods and apparatuses for assisting individuals in managing acute life-threatening conditions. A system in accordance with the current disclosure may comprise an electronic circuit configured to be attached to a container of a medication and one or more devices in communication with the electronic circuit in a private network. In an aspect, the one or more devices may work in concert to determine the safety level of an individual based on predetermined usage settings. In some aspects, the system may be configured to determine whether a medication would expire before its manufactured expiry date. In another aspect, the system may assist an individual in locating a medication. In a further aspect, the system may determine whether an individual is having an anaphylactic reaction. In some aspects, the system may detect a known allergen and alert the individual.
Personal monitoring apparatus and method
A method, including providing a device for an individual, storing information regarding a travel schedule or itinerary of the individual, determining a location of the device with a global positioning device, automatically and continuously monitoring the location of the device, comparing the location of the device with the travel schedule or itinerary, detecting a deviation of the device from a travel schedule or itinerary, or detecting an absence of, or a leaving of, the device from an expected location on the travel schedule or itinerary, generating a travel route deviation message and transmitting the travel route deviation message to a first communication device.
Monitoring objects capable of wireless communications
A method of monitoring objects capable of wireless communications is provided. The method comprises detecting an activity performed by a user of a wireless communications device, acquiring information identifying an expected set of objects which are associated with the detected activity, determining whether at least one of the objects in the expected set is not in proximity of the wireless communications device, and if so notifying the user that at least one of the objects in the expected set is not in proximity of the wireless communications device.
Private wireless network communications systems, methods and devices
An embodiment of a minder device includes a selector and a transceiver. The selector is configurable in one of multiple configurations each corresponding to a respective one of multiple responses. And the transceiver is configured to receive, from a host server via a cellular network, a message from a monitor device associated with the minder device, and to send, to the monitor device via a cellular network and the host server, the one of the responses corresponding to the one of the configurations in which the selector is configured. For example, such a device can be a less-expensive alternative to, and can allow more monitor control, than a smart phone. Furthermore, such a device can be suitable for tracking and locating children too young to have a smart phone, for tracking and locating pets, and for tracking and locating objects.
PERSONAL MONITORING APPARATUS AND METHOD
In an apparatus including a personal monitoring device which includes a microphone, speaker, camera, memory or database, global positioning device, controller, and transmitter, the improvement including a wearable device configured to include at least one of more components of the personal monitoring device on, with, or within, the wearable device, and a smoke detector, the fire detector, or the carbon monoxide (CO) detector. The microphone, speaker, or camera is located on an exterior of the wearable device. The smoke detector, fire detector, or carbon monoxide (CO) detector, is located on an exterior of the wearable device. The smoke detector, fire detector, or carbon monoxide (CO) detector, detects a presence of smoke, a fire, or a presence of carbon monoxide, and the speaker emits an alarm, a siren blare, or an audible and verbal message. The transmitter transmits a message to a computer or communication device.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING LOCATION ALARM SERVICE OF ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic device and method are disclosed. The electronic device includes a location detection circuit, a first wireless communication circuit configured to support short-range communication, a second wireless communication circuit, and at least one processor. The processor implements the method, including: receiving an advertising packet from an external device using the first wireless communication circuit, the advertising packet including identification information for the external device, acquiring a location of the electronic device using the location detection circuit, transmitting a first signal including the identification information of the external device and the acquired location to a server, using the second wireless communication circuit, receiving a second signal responsive to the first signal from the server via the second wireless communication circuit, the second signal including an alarm command for the external device, and transmitting the alarm command to the external device using the first wireless communication circuit.
Comprehensive system and method of universal real-time linking of real objects to a machine, network, internet, or software service
A system for detecting placement or misplacement of an object includes a wireless tag; a first electronic device (“FED”) associated with the tag to automatically detect signals from the tag, determine a position of the FED, transmit the position and status to an external electronic device or network (“EED”) in response to the status indicating that the tag and the FED are within a predetermined range, and transmit the position and status to the EED in response to the status indicating that the tag and the FED are outside of the predetermined range; and a second electronic device (“SED”) that is unassociated with the tag to automatically detect signals from the tag, determine a position of the SED, determine an identifier for the tag using the signals, and transmit the position of the SED and the identifier to the EED.
VEHICULAR CHILD MONITORING SYSTEM
A vehicular child monitoring system includes a child monitoring device having a connector for securing the device within a motor vehicle and oriented toward a child seat. The device includes a mirror, a seat connector, a camera, and a control system having a wireless communication unit and a plurality of sensors. The sensors include a temperature sensor, a humidity sensor, a proximity sensor, and a child detection sensor. A child monitoring application is communicatively linked to the communication unit and includes functionality for displaying the information received from the camera and each of the sensors, and for determining a separation distance with the child monitoring device. The system including functionality for determining that a child is in the car seat and sending an alarm to an external device if the vehicle temperature is above a set threshold.
Power Distribution Equipment Personnel Safety System
A power distribution equipment personnel safety system includes a vicinity sensor and a power distribution equipment sensor. An outer envelope having a door or cover to an interior of the power distribution equipment is monitored by a vicinity sensor data and a processing unit determines a position of a person in the area outside of the door/cover using vicinity sensor data. When the outer envelope is disturbed where one or more doors or one or more covers are open or not correctly closed or one or more covers are removed, the processing unit determines a personnel safety state and at least one action comprising utilization of the personnel safety state.
Selection of accessory device based on wireless signals
Companion and accessory devices can be wirelessly leashed together in a manner that enables the devices to estimate their proximities to each other. One device can periodically attempt to detect a signal from the other device. For each attempt, the attempting device can store an indication of whether the signal was detected. Further, a companion device or accessory device can detect signals from different wireless-capable devices in an environment. The companion device or the accessory device can configure an interface displayed on the companion device or the accessory device, respectively, based on signal information about the different wireless-capable devices in the environment.
