Tracking Bandage Assembly
20210150871 · 2021-05-20 ·

A tracking bandage assembly includes a bandage that is securable to a user to present the ornamental appearance of a dressing on a wound. A pad is coupled to the bandage and the pad has blood indicia thereon to present the ornamental appearance of having dressed a wound. A tracking unit is integrated into the bandage. The tracking unit is in electrical communication with a global positioning system (gps) to establish the physical location of the bandage. The tracking unit is in electrical communication with an extrinsic communication network. In this way the transceiver can notify emergency responders of the physical location of the bandage thereby facilitating the user to be located in an emergency.

System and Method of Wirelessly Tracking a Walking Assistance Tool
20210104141 · 2021-04-08 ·

A system and method of wirelessly tracking a walking assistance tool notifies a user from escaping past a safe perimeter and monitors the location of the walking assistance tool with respect to the user. The system includes a wearable device, a locator tag, and a walking assistance tool. The method begins by tracking a current device location with the wearable device, and a current tag location is tracked with the locator tag. The current tag location is relayed from the location tag to the wearable device. A distance difference is calculated between the current device location and the current tag location with the wearable device. A separation alert is outputted with the wearable device, if the distance is greater than or equal to a proximal distance threshold. A desertion alert is outputted with the wearable device, if the current device location is outside of a geofenced area.

Object tracking systems and methods

Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for object tracking. An example method may include receiving satellite signals from GPS satellites. The satellite signals may be indicative of satellite locations associated with the one or more GPS satellites and satellite timestamps associated with respective satellite locations. The method may further include determining, based on the satellite signals, a first location associated with a first tracking device. The method may further include receiving a target location associated with a target via a satellite transmission. The method may further include sending the target location to a second tracking device via a mesh network. The method may further include determining that a first distance between the first location and the target location, and the method may further include determining, based on the first distance, one or more actions.

PRIVATE WIRELESS NETWORK COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS, METHODS AND DEVICES

An embodiment of a minder device includes a selector and a transceiver. The selector is configurable in one of multiple configurations each corresponding to a respective one of multiple responses. And the transceiver is configured to receive, from a host server via a cellular network, a message from a monitor device associated with the minder device, and to send, to the monitor device via a cellular network and the host server, the one of the responses corresponding to the one of the configurations in which the selector is configured. For example, such a device can be a less-expensive alternative to, and can allow more monitor control, than a smart phone. Furthermore, such a device can be suitable for tracking and locating children too young to have a smart phone, for tracking and locating pets, and for tracking and locating objects.

Eyewear with proximity sensors to detect outside line of sight presence and corresponding methods

Eyewear includes a frame and one or more stems extending distally from the frame. One or more processors are disposed within one or more of the frame or the stems, and one or more proximity sensor components are disposed within the stems defining thermal reception beams oriented in a rearward facing direction. Each proximity sensor component can include an infrared signal receiver to receive an infrared emission from an object. The one or more processors can execute a control operation when the proximity sensor components receive the infrared emission from the object.

METHOD, SYSTEM, AND DEVICE FOR PROTECTING VEHICLE OCCUPANTS

A system, method, and device for protecting a vehicle occupant over a computerized network. There is an electronic seat pad with an occupant sensor, a driver sensor control module that detects proximity a driver's portable electronic computing device relative to the vehicle; and a key-location sensor that detects proximity of a vehicle key to the vehicle. There is a system management module that determines alert statuses and sends alert and safety notifications to a remote notification device, which automatically registers an alert if a threshold level of safety notifications are not received. There may be pressure, temperature, signal strength, CO2, IR, and other sensors. There is a state library that may be updated to identify additional dangerous states based on sensor readings.

FIRST RESPONSE LOCATOR SYSTEM

A first response locator system includes a portable emergency locator device having functionality for being carried by an individual and being positioned within a housing. The locator device including a plurality of lighting elements that generate light in a plurality of different colors. The device includes a speaker for generating an audible sound. The lighting elements and speaker are controlled by an internal controller having a communication unit that receives operating instructions from a remote operation device. The housing is adapted for use with an existing mailbox or other outdoor structure and includes mounting hardware for securement thereto.

Interactive monitoring system
10847007 · 2020-11-24 ·

An interactive monitoring system, comprising an object located in proximity to a first user and a remote display device, communicably coupled with the object over a communication network is disclosed. The object comprises a plurality of sensors that detects a generic event performed by the first user and cause a plurality of electronic units located on the object to activate based on the detected generic event performed by the first user. Remote display device display a field-of-view (FOV) captured by a first electronic unit of the activated plurality of electronic units. A second user associated with the remote display device communicates with the first user associated with the object over the communication network. The interactive monitoring system is Bluetooth compatible and the speakers can be found on both ears.

Generating Unexpected Location Notifications

In some implementations, a first computing device can send notifications at times that the first computing device is not in an expected location. A user of a second computing device can remotely configure an expected location for the first computing device, which may be a particular location for a certain period of time. During that time, the first computing device can monitor its own location and check whether it is within the expected location. If the first computing device unexpectedly leaves or fails to enter the expected location, the first computing device may transmit a notification to the second computing device. Similarly, if the first computing device loses connectivity with other devices, a server device may notify the second computing device that the location of the first computing device cannot be determined.
