Automatic electric fence boundary adjustment

Systems and techniques are described for pet monitoring during unattended delivery. In some implementations, a monitoring system monitors a property includes sensors located throughout the property and generates sensor data. A monitor control unit receives a first indication that a resident of the property will be receiving a delivery during a delivery time. Based on the sensor data and during the delivery time, the monitor control unit determines that a pet, that resides at the property, has been restrained. The monitor control unit provides, to a delivery person, a second indication that the pet at the property has been restrained.

A child tracking system includes an electronic device that may be manipulated. A pair of tracking units is provided. Each of the tracking units may be worn by an associated one of an adult and a child. Each of the tracking units may be in communication with a global positioning satellite. Thus, a physical location corresponding to each of the tracking units may be identified. Each of the tracking units is in electrical communication with the electronic device. Thus, the electronic device may display the physical location corresponding to each of the tracking units. Each of the tracking units has a fingerprint reader to read fingerprints.

System and method of monitoring an offender, defendant, or potential victim using multi-factor location verification

A method and system for monitoring an offender or defendant or potential victim utilizing multi-factor location verification. In one embodiment, the multi-factor location verification method and system utilizes GPS location data and WiFi router location data, transmitted on predetermined intervals by a wearable device and a smart phone, to determine whether the wearable device and smart phone are within a predetermined geolocation. If it is determined in subsequent transmissions of location data that not all location data is within the predetermined geolocation, an alert is sent out indicating that an offender or defendant or potential victim is no longer located within the predetermined geolocation.

An alert system has a first device configured to be secured to a first person, a second device associated with a second person, and a computing system. The computing system is configured to determine when the first device has breached a first geofence associated with the second device and, upon determining the first device has breached the first geofence, alert the first device, the second device, and a third device. The first device is configured to, upon receiving an alert indicating the first geofence has been breached, emit an alert signal on the first device. The second device is configured to, upon receiving an alert indicating the first geofence has been breached, emit an alert signal on the second device.

Tamper resistant one-time use wristband and clasp and algorithm to enhance the practical use of radio frequency for proximity between two or more entities

An electronic patient monitoring system and method of operation that includes one or more generally non-metal, tamper-resistant patient identification and monitoring devices, an observer transmitter/receiver device configured to receive and detect one or more beacon signals that exceed a predetermined threshold from at least one of the not easily removable patient identification and monitoring devices, set a time to hold open a window for a response on the transmitter/receiver device, and send a request for information to the observer with the transmitter/receiver device, and a central computer system. Each of the transmitter/receiver device and the central computer system, including, at least, a computer processor, communications components and system software to communicate with the observer transmitter/receiver device at specified/predetermined time intervals to receive observer- and patient-specific information.

Safe zones in tracking device environments
11676475 · 2023-06-13 · ·

A tracking system determines if a tracking device is located within a safe zone based on whether a set of safe conditions are satisfied. The set of safe conditions includes a geographic boundary or a geographic location and corresponding threshold distance. The set of safe conditions can also include a time window during which a safe zone is active. When a tracking device is within a safe zone (e.g., geographically and temporally), the tracking device is determined to be safe, and notifications associated with the tracking device can be minimized. The safe zones may be user-selected, user-defined, or determined based on data analytics. If a set of safe conditions are not satisfied, the tracking system generates and sends a notification to the user of the tracking device indicating that the tracking device may be lost.

Modular tracking device

Techniques and examples pertaining to a tracking method using a two-component tracking device are described. The tracking device includes two components paired with one another: a first component that is specific to a subject the tracking device is intended to track, and a second component that is generic. The second component is capable of establishing a wireless connection with a cellular network, as well as collecting location information of the second component itself. The tracking method involves receiving from the cellular network a set of requirements associated with the subject, and triggering an action based on the set of requirements and the location information collected. The tracking method enables tracking of multiple subjects without a pairing mistake. Namely, a mismatch between multiple subjects to be tracked and multiple tracking devices intended to track the subjects can be avoided.

Compliance metrics for offender monitoring devices

Example techniques of this disclosure are directed determining one or more values that represent a monitoring attribute for one or more body-worn tracking devices (BWTDs). In some instances, the techniques include determining a compliance metric that represents a level of compliance for at least one offender. That is, the compliance metric may be a quantitative value that represents whether a user wearing BWTD is complying with established rules or desired behaviors.

System and method for registration of a network enabled location tracking device

Systems and methods for registering a location tracking device affixed to an item or other merchandise with a cellular or mobile network provider associated with the purchaser are described herein. In some cases, user equipment in physical proximity to the location tracking device may establish a connection with the location tracking device to facilitate the registration process between the network provider and the location tracking device. Once the registration is complete, the location tracking device may establish a direct connection with the cellular or mobile network of the network provider such that the network provider is able to monitor the location of the location tracking device.
