Security sentinel robot
A building monitoring system includes a first sensor configured to detect a first condition in the space, a second sensor configured to detect a second condition in the space, and a robotic sentinel. The robotic sentinel includes a memory for storing one or more rules each configured to identify an alert condition for the space based on the first and/or second conditions in the space, a communications module configured to communicate with a remote device over a network, and a controller operatively coupled to the sensors, the memory, and the communications module. The controller is configured to apply the one or more rules to the first and second detected conditions in the space to identify one or more alert conditions and determine what action is required by the robotic sentinel, and if action is required, command the robotic sentinel to travel to a location of the alert condition.
DETECTING DEVICE HAVING A PLURALITY OF DETECTING PORTIONS WORKING AUTOMATICALLY OR BY SELECTION
A device for detecting household conditions and events includes a power supply portion and a plurality of portions able to detect different conditions, or changes in different conditions. Each detecting portion includes an input port and an output port, the output port of one detecting portion is detachably electronically connected to the power supply portion, and the input port of one detecting portion is detachably electronically connected to the output port in a modular fashion of another detecting portion, the remote selection of a specific required detection is also provided.
Device, system and method for health and safety monitoring
A system for monitoring health and safety of workers in a manufacturing facility is presented. The system includes a user interface, a set of sensors, a database, management software and/or a health monitoring system, among other components. The system is configured to monitor health of workers using biometric data gathered by the set of sensors. In one or more arrangements, the system also tracks the position and motion of the worker. In one or more arrangements, the data gathered is aggregated in a database for datamining purposes so as to facilitate health monitoring and mitigation of identified illness. The system may be configured to screen and identify workers who are not in normal health. The system may be configured to screen workers health when clocking into or out of the time keeping system. The system may be configured to perform contact tracing.

IN-VEHICLE ABNORMALITY DETECTION DEVICE AND IN-VEHICLE ABNORMALITY DETECTION METHOD
A change rate of in-vehicle carbon dioxide concentration at an optional time point when the vehicle is in a parked state is estimated on the basis of detection signals of a CO.sub.2 concentration sensor at two different time points when in the parked state; and on the basis of a detection signal of the CO.sub.2 concentration sensor at the optional time point, a preset time constant of concentration change of the in-vehicle carbon dioxide concentration, and the estimated change rate, the in-vehicle carbon dioxide concentration at a time point when a predetermined time according to the time constant has elapsed since the optional time point is estimated (steps S4 to S7). A detection target organism is determined to be present in the vehicle when the estimated in-vehicle carbon dioxide concentration is equal to or more than a threshold value set according to the detection target organism (steps S8 and S9).
Lighting Fixture Having an Environmental Detection System
A lighting fixture is provided. The lighting fixture includes a sensor, a first power circuit configured to produce a first driving current for the sensor, a second power circuit a first power circuit configured to produce a second driving current for the sensor, and a switching device connected to the power supply. The switching device is configured to move between a first position and a second position, and to connect the first power circuit to a power supply in the first position, and connect the second power circuit to the power supply in the second position.

COMBINATION RECESSED LIGHT AND SMOKE SENSOR AND CARBON MONOXIDE SENSOR SYSTEM
A combination recessed light with a smoke sensor and a carbon monoxide detector to detect for both smoke and carbon monoxide gas in a room. The recessed light can be a wafer style recessed light with an LED light source with a cover plate forming a smoke collection chamber with a smoke detecting sensor located within. A smoke collecting area is located below the LED light source and is connected to the smoke collection chamber thru one or more holes. A box mounted to a wall of the room can have a carbon monoxide sensor, a battery, and speaker, and a test button to sound an alarm for both the smoke sensor and the carbon monoxide sensor. The test button is used to test both the smoke detector and the CO sensor. An array of recessed lights is mounted to a ceiling and a power convertor device converts 110-volt power to 20-volt power that is supplied to each of then LED light sources.
