Location-based features for commute assistant
Some embodiments provide a commute application that provides a first presentation of several stops along a route. The commute application also receives a selection of a stop from the several stops along the route. The commute application further provides a second presentation for displaying several different routes that traverse through the selected stop.
METHOD, APPARATUS, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT FOR QUANTIFYING PUBLIC TRANSPORT COVERAGE
A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided for quantifying public transport coverage. In this regard, for a traveler journey beginning at a starting location, transit time data is determined. The transit time data is indicative of a predicted amount of time to travel between the starting location and a departure location associated with a public transport boarding location for a public transport. Furthermore, waiting time data is determined. The waiting time is indicative of a predicted amount of time to wait at the departure location prior to departure via the public transport. Additionally, time to departure data is computed based on a combination of the transit time data and the waiting time data. For the traveler journey, a time to departure probability prediction is also determined.
DATA PROCESSING APPARATUS, SENDING APPARATUS, AND DATA PROCESSING METHOD
An image generation apparatus (20) includes an acquisition unit (210) and a data processing unit (220). The acquisition unit (210) repeatedly acquires analysis data from at least one sending apparatus (10). The analysis data include at least type data and relative position data. The data processing unit (220) generates, each time analysis data are acquired, a reconfigured image by using the analysis data, and causes a display (230) to display the reconfigured image. Further, the data processing unit (220) requests the sending apparatus (10) for a captured image, when a criterion is satisfied.
TRANSPORT-RELATED EFFICIENCY MANAGEMENT
An example operation includes one or more of determining a transport, in a group of transports associated with a date of disposition, is operating below an efficiency threshold of the group of transports, and limiting transports, in the group of transports, that are operating most above the efficiency threshold, from performing functionality until the group of transports is at the efficiency threshold.
VEHICLE AND TRIP DATA NAVIGATION FOR COMMUNICATION SERVICE MONITORING USING MAP GRAPHICAL INTERFACE
An apparatus for monitoring a network communication system onboard a vehicle comprises a network interface and control circuitry. The control circuitry is configured to obtain location data indicating geographic locations of a plurality of vehicles within a geographic area, generate a first interface comprising a first portion and a second portion, and generate first graphical interface data within the first portion of the first interface. The first graphical interface data represents a map of the geographic area and a plurality of vehicle icons. Each of the plurality of vehicle icons is selectable via user input and at a position on the map corresponding to a respective geographic location of one of the plurality of vehicles. The control circuitry is further configured to generate second graphical interface data within the second portion of the first interface. The second graphical interface data represents vehicle identifiers for the plurality of vehicles.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR VISUALIZING MULTIPLE VEHICLE TRAJECTORIES
A method of visualizing output data of a traffic planning method for controlling a plurality of vehicles (v1, v2, . . . ), wherein each vehicle occupies one node in a shared set of planning nodes (wp1, wp2, . . . ) and is movable to other nodes along predefined edges between pairs of the nodes, wherein the output data indicates respective planned node occupancies of the vehicles for a sequence of time steps, the method comprising: obtaining a graphical representation of the planning nodes; and in the graphical representation, indicating each vehicle's planned movements between the nodes by linear graphical elements, wherein an appearance parameter of the linear graphical elements has a time variation with respect to the time step, which time variation is common to all vehicles. The appearance parameter may be a line width, line style, color or texture.

Methods and Systems of Assigning Trips to Vehicles
A method of assigning a trip to a vehicle within a fleet of vehicles that traverse a navigable network in a geographic area is disclosed, where each of the vehicles in the fleet is equipped with one or more electronic devices for logging the activities of one or more drivers associated with the vehicle and for determining the location of the vehicle in the geographic area. For each one of one or more vehicles of the fleet of vehicles, location of interest data and log data is obtained in respect of the vehicle. A time budget for the vehicle is determined using the obtained log data, the time budget representing the amount of time that the vehicle can be legally operated by the one or more drivers associated with the vehicle within a given time period starting from a time of interest. The obtained location of interest and determined time budget for the vehicle are used to determine a boundary enclosing a portion of the geographic area representing an area that is reachable by the vehicle by traversing the navigable network from the location of interest within the determined time budget for the vehicle. Data indicative of at least the determined boundary and the location of interest upon which the boundary is based is provided to a display device of the dispatcher for display thereon.
