The process includes communicating with vehicles to obtain the travel information, storing the travel information in the memory; estimating a target stop position where the vehicle should stop based on the travel information; transmitting the target stop position to the vehicles-obtaining an index indicating at least one of repeatability of driving behavior of a driver, proximity of the behavior to an average value of others, and fuel consumption, determining a first driver corresponding to the index indicating a value less than a value determined based on the travel information of others; and eliminating a stop position information form the travel information stored in the memory, the stop position information indicating a stop position based on the travel information of the vehicle driven by the first driver.

The memory has one or more modules that have instructions that cause the processor to determine if the vehicle is located in an urban setting or a non-urban setting and utilize the lower computationally demanding object tracking algorithm by an object tracking system when the vehicle is located in the non-urban setting. If it is determined that the vehicle is in an urban setting, the instructions cause the processor to determine available computational resources of the object tracking system and utilizing either the lower computationally demanding object tracking algorithm or the higher computationally demanding object tracking algorithm based on the available computational resources.

The learning unit learns the transition of the color component using artificial intelligence to create a trained model used to determine an occurrence of an event. The determination unit determines whether an event occurs using the trained model on a basis of the recording data. When the determination unit determines the occurrence of the event, the event recording control unit causes a recording unit to record, as event recording data, the recording data including a time point upon the occurrence of the event.

Dynamically providing position information of a transit object to a computing device

A system and method for providing position information of a transit object to a computing device is provided. Global positioning satellite (GPS) information of a transit object can be periodically received. For each of some of the GPS information, one or more candidate points of a transit system can be identified based on the GPS information. Using the one or more candidate points, a most likely path of travel can be determined. Additional position points along the most likely path of travel can be extrapolated and transmitted to a computing device.

A plurality of boarding position candidates and a plurality of alighting position candidates are calculated around a geographical point from which the vehicle dispatch request was transmitted. A vehicle position is detected when the vehicle dispatch request was transmitted. For each boarding position candidate, a travel route is calculated from the vehicle position at a time of the vehicle dispatch request to at least one of the alighting position candidates via the boarding position candidate. A travel time is calculated for the vehicle to travel the travel route calculated for each of the boarding position candidates. A selected boarding position is determined from among the boarding position candidates based on the traveling time for each boarding position candidate.
