A vehicle conveyance control apparatus for controlling a plurality of conveyance devices, includes a processor and a memory coupled to the processor. Each of the plurality of conveyance devices is configured to lift each tire of a vehicle to convey the vehicle from a predetermined area of a parking lot to a parking space. The processor is configured to perform: acquiring vehicle information including tire position information of each tire of the vehicle detected in the predetermined area; selecting conveyance devices to convey the vehicle from among the plurality of conveyance devices different in conveyance capacity for lifting each tire of the vehicle to convey the vehicle based on the tire position information of the vehicle acquired in the acquiring; and instructing the conveyance devices selected in the selecting to convey the vehicle from the predetermined area to the parking space.
Systems and methods for determining vehicle parking scores
This disclosure describes systems and methods for determining vehicle parking scores. An example method may include calculating, subsequent to a first vehicle parking within a first parking space of a parking lot and based on first sensor data obtained by the first vehicle, a first vehicle parking score. The example method may also include calculating, subsequent to a second vehicle parking within the first parking space of the parking lot and based on second sensor data obtained by the second vehicle, a second vehicle parking score. The example method may also include calculating a first average vehicle parking score for the first parking space based on the first vehicle parking score and the second vehicle parking score. The example method may also include presenting an indication of the first average vehicle parking score for the first parking space to a third vehicle within the parking lot.

One aspect of the invention relates to a method for signaling information to the operator of the remote control for a parking assistance system which can be controlled by remote control from outside of a motor vehicle for automatically parking the motor vehicle into a parking space. The method includes detecting surroundings information with respect to the vehicle surroundings on the motor vehicle side using a surrounding sensor system of the motor vehicle. The parking assistance system in the motor vehicle detects a parking space on the basis of the surroundings information, and information on the detection of a parking space is transmitted from the motor vehicle to the remote control via a wireless communication connection. On the basis of the received information, the remote control signals the presence of the detected parking space to the operator.
FORECASTING VEHICLE LOCATION OCCUPANCY
Among other things, techniques are described for forecasting occupancy of a vehicle location. This includes receiving, by at least one processor, status information of a parking location the status information representing an availability of the parking location; predicting, by the at least one processor, a future status of the parking location based on the received status information; determining, by the at least one processor, a destination based on the predicted future status of the parking location; and providing, by the at least one processor, the predicted future status to a controller of a vehicle for controlling the vehicle to drive to the destination.
REMOTE PARKING APPARATUS
A remote parking apparatus comprises an electronic control unit which executes a remote parking control to move an own vehicle and park the own vehicle in a designated parking space in response to receiving a signal transmitted wirelessly from an operation terminal. The electronic control unit is configured to set a parking space as the designated parking space even when there is an obstacle interrupting parking the own vehicle in the parking space.

A remote parking system includes: a terminal configured to transmit a ranging signal; plural reception units provided with a reception surface to receive the ranging signal and configured to detect an arrival direction of the ranging signal with respect to the reception surface; and a control device configured to acquire a distance from the terminal to a vehicle based on the arrival direction of the ranging signal and a reference posture of each of the reception units and to move the vehicle toward a parking position based on an operation input to the terminal in a case where the control device determines that the acquired distance from the terminal to the vehicle is equal to or less than a prescribed threshold. The control device is configured to cause the terminal to display an intensity of the ranging signal received by at least one of the reception units.

A method for auctioning a wait time of a user of a vehicle parked in an available parking space includes: posting details regarding the available parking space; posting, by a user of at least one unparked vehicle, a requirement for a parking space in a designated area; matching the designated area with the location of the available parking space, the matching determining a list of unparked vehicles having a requirement for the available parking space; presenting information regarding the available parking space to the user of each unparked vehicle on the list of unparked vehicles; bidding, by the user of at least one unparked vehicle on the list of unparked vehicles, on the wait time of the user of vehicle parked in the available parking space; determining a winning bid; and notifying the user of the unparked vehicle who placed the winning bid.

An information providing system includes an onboard device and a server that transmits information to and receives information from the onboard device. The onboard device includes a condition setting unit that acquires a destination and an output mode and transmits the acquired destination and the acquired output mode to the server. The onboard device further includes an output unit that outputs parking lot recommendation information which is received from the server.
