Systems, methods, and other embodiments described herein relate to automatically learning parking preferences for a driver and generating parking recommendations. In one embodiment, a method includes generating training data based at least in part on: 1) trajectory data indicating a trajectory of a vehicle during a plurality of parking events, each in which a driver of the vehicle selected a parking candidate from among a plurality of parking candidates, and 2) attribute data indicating attributes of each of the plurality of parking candidates, removing, from the training data, data associated with at least one available parking candidate based on one or more conditions that indicate the driver did not consider the at least one available parking candidate, and training a decision model, based on remaining training data, to estimate a preferred parking candidate for the driver from among a set of available parking candidates.

The method includes: receiving, by a server, a danger alarm sent by an intelligent mobile robot, where the danger alarm is used to indicate that the intelligent mobile robot detects a dangerous event; determining, by the server, a safe position for the intelligent mobile robot, where the safe position is a position in which the dangerous event does not occur currently; and sending, by the server, an escape instruction to the intelligent mobile robot, where the escape instruction includes the safe position.
Vehicle and control method thereof
A vehicle is provided to automatically move according to a movement request received from a surrounding vehicle already parked when the vehicle is parked around the surrounding parked vehicle. The vehicle includes a communication unit and a sensor sensing an external surrounding. A steering device steers the vehicle wheels and a power device transmits power to the wheels. In response to receiving vehicle identification information and movement request from the surrounding parked vehicle through the communication unit, a controller determines whether the surrounding vehicle has an authority for the movement request based on the external surrounding and the vehicle identification information. The power device and the steering device are operated based on the movement request when the surrounding parked vehicle has the authority.
Vehicle parking enforcement system
A parking enforcement system includes an autonomous vehicle that is equipped with an image capture device that is configured to capture images of license plates of parked vehicles while the autonomous vehicle moves through a parking zone. The system will process the images to extract license plate numbers from the images. The system will correlate the license plate numbers with data in a parking enforcement database to determine whether the license plate numbers are associated with an unexpired parking transaction. For any license plate number that is not subject to an unexpired parking transaction, the system may initiate an enforcement action. For any license plate number that is subject to an unexpired parking transaction, the system may not initiate an enforcement action.

A method for auctioning a wait time of a user of a vehicle parked in an available parking space includes: posting details regarding the available parking space; posting, by a user of at least one unparked vehicle, a requirement for a parking space in a designated area; matching the designated area with the location of the available parking space, the matching determining a list of unparked vehicles having a requirement for the available parking space; presenting information regarding the available parking space to the user of each unparked vehicle on the list of unparked vehicles; bidding, by the user of at least one unparked vehicle on the list of unparked vehicles, on the wait time of the user of vehicle parked in the available parking space; determining a winning bid; and notifying the user of the unparked vehicle who placed the winning bid.
System, method and apparatus for position-based parking of vehicle
The present disclosure provides a system, a method and an apparatus for position-based parking of a vehicle, capable of solving the problem in the related art that an unmanned vehicle cannot be parked at a specified position accurately in an environment with a weak GPS signal. The method includes, during position-based parking of a vehicle at a predetermined position: receiving, by a communication device of the vehicle, posture data from a roadside device located within a predetermined range from the predetermined position; deciding, by a vehicle-mounted processing device of the vehicle, whether received posture data satisfies a predetermined positioning rule; determining posture adjustment data for the vehicle when the received posture data does not satisfy the predetermined positioning rule; and controlling the vehicle to perform a posture adjustment operation based on the posture adjustment data.
ELIMINATING USE OF A MOBILE PRINTING DEVICE IN ISSUING A RECORD OF TRANSACTION ACTIVITY INFORMATION
A parking management system identifies vehicles in entrance lanes, exit lanes, or both, of a parking facility and provides a real-time vehicle inventory count. One or more beacons locate point of sale (POS) devices assigned to parking attendants to determine which of them are performing vehicle transactions. Vehicles can be associated with specific transactions, as well as the transaction-authorizing attendant and the barrier gate and vehicle travel lane to which the attendant is assigned. To reduce fraud, this transaction information can be monitored in real time by a web or mobile dashboard and analyzed in real time or upon attendant end-of-shift checkout. The system partly unburdens the parking attendant processing a parking transaction by implementing a method that eliminates need for a mobile printing device in issuing to a vehicle-driving customer a receipt, multiuse pass, or citation or warning.
