The present invention allows multi-space meters to separately manage and control premium parking spaces, such as those for charging electric vehicles or those which supply electric power for engine block heaters in both pay-by-space and pay-and-display systems. Such premium spaces can be managed together over large areas (e.g., a city or region), or may be managed over smaller areas (e.g., the domain of an individual kiosk), or individually per parking space. Management includes pricing, time limits, hours, seasons of operation, and restrictions by vehicle type, and alternative pricing and restrictions for non-premium hours.

Artificially intelligent and dynamic infrastructure management in edge systems is provided. A number of available autonomous compute, networking, and/or cloud vehicles (ACNCV) is determined. Current conditions are extracted within an area in which the available ACNCV is defined to operate. Based on repositioning being needed, repositioning one or more of the available ACNCVs to a location last occupied under similar conditions. Based on the repositioning improving utilization, updating the ACNCV location in a database indicating improvement under current conditions. Location optimization is performed, including plotting a GPS location for each user, weighting each user based on individual utilization, resulting in a weighted k-means clustering to locate one or more centroids, locating in the database an allowable parking area closest to the one or more centroids, calculating a minimum movement among each of the ACNCVs to the allowable parking area, and transmitting repositioning instructions to a selected ACNCV.

Such communication may be performed for signaling, collision avoidance, path coordination, and/or autonomous control. A computing device may receive data for the same road segment from autonomous vehicles, including (i) an indication of a location within the road segment, and (ii) an indication of a condition of the road segment. The computing device may generate, from the data for the same road segment, an overall indication of the condition of the road segment, which may include a recommendation to vehicles approaching the road segment. Additionally, the computing device may receive a request from a computing device within a vehicle approaching the road segment to display vehicle data. The overall indication for the road segment may then be displayed on a user interface of the computing device.
