Ostomy output diversion device
An ostomy output diversion device is used to cover and seal closely around a patient's stoma, to divert stoma effluent output through the device, into a container or reservoir, temporarily eliminating the need of an adhesive-based ostomy pouching system. The ostomy output diversion device is placed over the person's stoma, with the base ring surrounding the peristomal skin, the adjustable inner tube is retracted until the base ring is centered over the stoma, the body support strap is then placed over the device to secure it to the patient's body, the inner tube is then extended over the stoma, the patient applies the desired pressure against the skin, then secures the inner tube in place with the pressure adjustment lock. The device may also include an ostomy pouch mounting ring for attachment to an ostomy pouch, and a disposable receptacle.

BASE PLATE AND SENSOR ASSEMBLY OF AN OSTOMY SYSTEM HAVING A LEAKAGE SENSOR
The disclosed is an ostomy system configured to detect a leakage of output between abase plate and/or a sensor assembly part of the ostomy system and a surface of a subject and a method of detecting the leakage of output. The ostomy system including the base plate and/or the sensor assembly part and a monitor device, the base plate and/or the sensor assembly part comprising (i) a first adhesive layer having a distal surface, a proximal surface, and a first plurality of openings, and (ii) an electrode assembly comprising a plurality of electrodes and a masking element between the plurality of electrodes and the first adhesive layer, the masking element having a second plurality of openings aligned with the first plurality of openings of the first adhesive layer, each of the aligned first and second plurality of openings exposes a portion of one of the plurality of electrodes to define one of a plurality of sensor points, the monitor device electrically coupled to the plurality of electrodes of the base plate and/or the sensor assembly part.
OSTOMY APPLIANCE
An ostomy appliance (1) is provided including: first and second walls (10, 12) which are connected at or near their peripheries to provide a waste collecting cavity (14) therebetween, a stoma-receiving opening (20) provided in the first wall (10), and a connection member (30), which provides for connection to a patient around a stoma, which is connected, directly or indirectly, to the first wall (10) by a connection arrangement (40) which includes: a first connection formation (50), which extends around the stoma receiving opening (20) and has a periphery and provides support between the connection member (30) and the first wall (10), and a second connection formation (60), which is disposed outside of the periphery of the first connection formation (50) and further away from the stoma-receiving opening (20) than the first connection formation (50).

Adhesive wafer with a neutralizer matrix
An adhesive wafer for an ostomy device, the wafer comprising a skin-facing adhesive layer, a backing layer on a part of the non-skin-facing side of the adhesive layer, and a hole for accommodating a stoma. On the central portion of the wafer is located a release layer being configured to release a neutralizer. The release layer is in direct contact with the adhesive layer. The neutralizer is capable of neutralizing or at least minimizing the level of skin or adhesive aggressiveness of the output.
Body side member of an ostomy appliance
A body side member of an ostomy appliance having a distal surface with one or more pockets holding a manipulable material and allowing the manipulable material to be shifted between a first position and a second position in the pocket in use of the body side member around a stoma of a user.
