Disclosed is a computer-based multisensory tutorial that collects vocal data and tactile input data from a user related to a target presented by a GUI, the target comprising a phoneme, grapheme, letter, word; determines if the collected data exceeds or fails to meet a threshold value associated with the target; and provides a correction prompt visible or audible to a user if the input does not meet the threshold. A typical user of the tutorial may be a student (child or adult) in an educational setting, but use is not intended to be limited thereto. The multisensory tutorial may be configured for a plurality of languages. A multisensory tutorial configured device comprises one or more tutorial software modules, a GUI lesson screen, and a plurality of integrated lessons based on an Ortin-Gillingham plus program (for example one chosen between lessons 20 and 50), but is not limited thereto.

TUTORIAL MANAGEMENT DEVICE, TUTORIAL MANAGEMENT METHOD, AND NON-TRANSIENT COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM

A tutorial management device manages, for a user of a moving body, attendance of a pre-use tutorial on an operation method of the moving body conducted before use of the moving body. The tutorial management device includes: an exemption range determination part that determines an exemption range for the user who is exempted from attending a part or all of the pre-use tutorial based on a predetermined exemption condition; and a tutorial management part that manages the attendance of the pre-use tutorial by the user based on the exemption range determined by the exemption range determination part. The tutorial management part requires all of the pre-use tutorial to be attended when the user uses the moving body for a first time, and exempts the user from attending the exemption range among the pre-use tutorial when the user has used the moving body in the past.

LEARNING VIA A VIRTUAL REALITY EXPERIENCE

A method, computing system, and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium are provided. A computing system receives a selection of a room for a virtual reality experience. The computing system then presents the room as the virtual reality experience. First input, including one or more memorization items the user wants to memorize, is received by the computing system. The computing system suggests to the user at least one respective object for each of the one or more memorization items. The computing system presents to the user each of at least one respective selected object in a corresponding respective location within the room in the virtual reality experience in response to receiving a selection of one or more objects of the at least one respective object. Each of the one or more selected objects at the corresponding respective location is associated with a respective one of the one or more memorization items.

A system for streaming of contextual micro-content blocks for a workflow task to facilitate task performance by a user. The system includes a context sensing engine that processes one or more context inputs and generates an output based on the context inputs received from a front-end context monitoring appliance. The system includes a processing circuit having a navigation engine to navigate through digital information sources and search for information that matches one or more parameters of relevance for the workflow task. The processing circuit extracts computer-executable information files from the digital information sources that matches the one or more parameters of relevance for the workflow task and digitally processes the collected computer-executable information files into processed information blocks. The processing circuit includes a micro-content blocks creator for generating the contextual micro-content blocks from the processed information blocks. The micro-content blocks are delivered to the user when the micro-tasks are beginning.

INFORMATION PROVISION SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROVISION METHOD, AND MANAGEMENT DEVICE

An information provision system includes provision instruction means for generating a provision instruction to provide a content associated with a guidance voice every emission of the guidance voice, and information distribution means for transmitting distribution information for reproducing the content related to the provision instruction, to a mobile terminal registered as a target of provision of the content associated with the guidance voice.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING WORD DEFINITIONS BASED ON USER EXPOSURE
20170316708 · 2017-11-02 ·

Systems and methods are disclosed herein for providing a definition of a word encountered by the user during media consumption when a profile of the user reflects an insufficient understanding of the word. To this end, a media guidance application may detect a word appearing in media, and may determine that the word satisfies a user-specific criterion. Further, the media guidance application may determine that the exposure of the user to the word reflects an insufficient understanding of the word by calculating the level of exposure of the user to the word and comparing the level of exposure to an exposure criterion. The media guidance application may then provide a definition of the word to the user.

Intelligent glasses for the visually impaired

An approach for communicating navigation information on a physical environment to a user. The approach includes a computer receiving digital images of a physical environment of the user captured by digital video devices and converting the digital images into a three-dimensional image. The approach includes the computer analyzing the three-dimensional image using object analysis to generate output data, wherein the output data corresponds to the physical environment and determining at least one device associated with the user. The approach includes the computer formatting the output data for use with at least one device, wherein the at least one device is capable of providing to the user a spatial map of the physical environment created by an electrical stimulation pad, and receiving a touch from a user on a surface of the electrical stimulation pad corresponding to an object represented in the spatial map of the physical environment.

USER ENERGY-LEVEL ANOMALY DETECTION

Aspects of the technology described herein can analyze user data from multiple computing devices to ascertain a user's energy level and detect anomalies. When an anomaly is detected, the technology described herein can make suggestions to increase the user's energy level. The suggestions can be generated by analyzing user data from the crowd to determine what worked for similarly situated users.
