Vehicular driver evaluation

Methods and systems are described regarding vehicular driver evaluation. Various aspects may include monitoring a vehicle operating environment in which a vehicle is operating. A target vehicle operating within the vehicle operating environment may be identified based upon sensor data from one or more sensors associated with the vehicle. An indication of an identity of the target vehicle may be recorded and an indication of an evaluation of an operation of the target vehicle may be received by the operator of the vehicle. The indication of the evaluation of the operation of the target vehicle may indicate the quality of operation of the target vehicle. The indication of the identity of the target vehicle and the indication of the evaluation of the operation of the target vehicle may be transmitted to a remote server.

Systems and methods for providing driver training in a virtual reality environment are disclosed. According to some aspects, an appropriate virtual reality driving simulation may be determined based on one or more input parameters provided by a user. The virtual reality driving simulation may include: (i) an instructional lesson, to be rendered in virtual reality, for teaching driving-related rules and/or skills to a user, and (ii) a driving scenario, to be rendered in virtual reality, for the user to practice the driving-related rules and/or skills taught by the instructional lesson. While the virtual reality driving simulation is rendered, user performance data may be recorded. Based on an analysis of the user performance data, a driving competency score and/or user feedback may be determined.

Systems and methods are described for determining an average travel environment associated with a vehicle and for generating a related risk profile. In various aspects telematics data may be received via wireless communication over one or more radio links from a computing device traveling with a vehicle. An average travel environment, that can account for an average amount of pedestrian traffic or an average amount of vehicle traffic that the vehicle typically travels in, may be determined from processor analysis of the telematics data. The average travel environment may be used to generate a risk profile. An auto insurance policy option may be generated based upon the risk profile auto and transmitted via wireless communication to the computing device to facilitate an insured's review and approval of the auto insurance policy option that is provided based upon a risk associated with the average travel environment.

Systems and methods for providing driving guidance

A driving guidance system that provides a driving guidance to a driver when the driver makes operations to remotely control a vehicle in a driving route. The driving guidance system includes at least one driving guidance equipment, an analytic engine, a control platform. The driving guidance equipment is distributed along the driving route for recording data of the vehicle. The analytic engine receives and analyzes the data of the vehicle to generate a plurality of features of the vehicle. The control platform further includes a real virtuality objects generator and a display. The real virtuality objects generator generates a plurality of real virtuality objects based on the features of the vehicle and the display shows the real virtuality objects to the driver of the vehicle for providing the driving guidance.

A driving guidance system that provides a driving guidance to a driver when the driver makes operations to remotely control a vehicle in a driving route. A method of evaluating a driving skill executed by a computer includes a skill evaluation step of evaluating a driver's driving skill based on a detection value of a vehicle state, a component separating step of separating the detection value of the vehicle state into a driver's operation component reflecting a driver's motion and a non-driver's operation component without reflecting the driver's motion, and a skill evaluation modifying step of correcting or abandoning evaluation of the driving skill based on at least one of an amount of the driver's operation component and an amount of the non-driver's operation component.
