SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING IMMERSIVE AVIONICS TRAINING
Systems and methods for providing immersive avionics training include controlling a virtual or augmented reality device to present, to a user, a virtual or augmented reality simulation of a user interface of an avionics system including a simulation of a display of the avionics system. The method further includes detecting a user action based on a point of gaze and touch inputs of the user indicative of a user command to use a functionality of the avionics system. The user action is a physical interaction with a control panel apparatus representing an input device of the user interface of the avionics system. The method also includes simulating the use of the functionality in accordance with the user command to generate output data and controlling the virtual or augmented reality device to simulate display of the output data in the simulation of the display of the avionics system.
PERSONAL GAS SUPPLY APPARATUS AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
A personal breathing apparatus installed in an aircraft that is not fully pressurized, and configured to prevent or treat an adverse physiological event. The personal breathing system is configured so as to prevent, lessen or reverse hypercapnia by (i) facilitating removal of carbon dioxide generated the pilot by controlling pilot ventilation and/or (ii) limiting or decreasing the amount of carbon dioxide generated by the pilot by controlling the amount of oxygen breathed by the pilot.
AUTOMATIC INFERENTIAL PILOT COMPETENCY ANALYSIS BASED ON DETECTING PERFORMANCE NORMS IN FLIGHT SIMULATION DATA
In an embodiment, the disclosed technologies receive flight simulation data from a flight simulator computer, input the flight simulation data into a machine learning time-series classifier to identify a plurality of maneuvers from the flight simulation data, evaluate a plurality of performance metrics associated with the identified maneuvers to evaluate a pilot's proficiency of the plurality of maneuvers. In one aspect of the embodiment, the performance metrics associated with the identified maneuvers are used to evaluate a plurality of competency indicators measuring a pilot's aviation competency.

METHODS, SYSTEMS, APPARATUSES, AND DEVICES FOR FACILITATING PROVISIONING OF A VIRTUAL EXPERIENCE
A system, including a memory in communication with a processor, the memory storing instructions that when executed by the processor cause the processor to create and store a geospatial virtual environment comprising a plurality of entities each having one or more location attributes and corresponding time attributes wherein at least one of the plurality of entities is a virtual asset and wherein at least one of the plurality of entities represents a real vehicle having a defined location within a physical space having spatial coordinates that are mapped to the virtual environment, receive an updated location of the real vehicle, map the received location of the real vehicle to the geospatial virtual environment, update the entity of the geospatial virtual environment corresponding to the real vehicle with the mapped received location and output data comprising a portion of the geospatial virtual environment to a display device adapted to display to an operator of the real vehicle a mixed reality representation of at least one virtual entity.
Systems and methods for displaying weather data
Methods and systems of displaying weather data for a cockpit display system of an aircraft. The methods and systems include generating a display to include a first graphical map of real-time weather data from a weather radar. The display further includes a notification graphic associated with a portion of part of a displayed flight plan in which a significant weather condition exists. When the notification graphic is selected, the display includes the first graphical map of the real time weather data based on weather data from the weather radar and a second graphical map of significant weather conditions data derived from transmitted weather data.
Virtual flight deck
A method is present for presenting a flight deck. A model of the flight deck is identified having a number of locations for a number of displays. Aircraft data is obtained. A number of panels is generated from the aircraft data. A display of the flight deck is generated containing the number of panels in the number of locations to form a presentation of the flight deck.
System and method for evaluating cyber-attacks on aircraft
A system for evaluating a cyber-attack on an aircraft may include a display associated with the aircraft, a sensor system configured to generate sensor data for a pilot, and a data processing system configured to: (1) generate simulation data, (2) generate a flight simulation from the simulation data, (3) simulate the cyber-attack on at least one aircraft system during the flight simulation, (4) generate virtual flight data during the flight simulation, and (5) present the sensor data and the virtual flight data.
