SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A CONTROL STATION
A system and method for remote control of a mobile device is provided herein. The system includes a primary receiver for providing primary command and control of the mobile device; a secondary receiver for providing secondary command and control of the mobile device; the mobile device configured to respond to command and control signals sent by any of the primary receiver and the secondary receiver; and a relay platform for relaying the command and control signals throughout the system. The primary receiver may include an extended reality component.
Cockpit controls simulation
A method and system for simulating pilot controls in a cockpit simulator by controlling one or more arms on which is/are mounted a control grip, pedal or the like, to locate the grip at different positions and allow movement of the grip in a plurality of movement directions and trajectories while allowing varying force feedback.
METHODS, SYSTEMS, APPARATUSES, AND DEVICES FOR FACILITATING PROVISIONING OF A VIRTUAL EXPERIENCE
A system, including a memory in communication with a processor, the memory storing instructions that when executed by the processor cause the processor to create and store a geospatial virtual environment comprising a plurality of entities each having one or more location attributes and corresponding time attributes wherein at least one of the plurality of entities is a virtual asset and wherein at least one of the plurality of entities represents a real vehicle having a defined location within a physical space having spatial coordinates that are mapped to the virtual environment, receive an updated location of the real vehicle, map the received location of the real vehicle to the geospatial virtual environment, update the entity of the geospatial virtual environment corresponding to the real vehicle with the mapped received location and output data comprising a portion of the geospatial virtual environment to a display device adapted to display to an operator of the real vehicle a mixed reality representation of at least one virtual entity.
Virtual reality with virtualization in trainers and test environments
Systems and methods are disclosed for virtual reality (VR) aircraft test and training environments that simultaneously leverage a high quality immersive environment engine and an operational flight program (OFP) running on a virtual flight management computer (FMC) by using a communication channels that couples the immersive VR environment engine with the virtual FMC. Existing investment in flight simulators, test environment core components, and any of navigation simulation, data link simulation, air traffic control simulation, and flight visualization modules can be advantageously employed to provide high-quality, realistic testing and training capability.

SPACE FLIGHT SIMULATOR, PLANETARIUM HAVING THE SAME, AND SPACE FLIGHT SIMULATING PROGRAM
A space flight simulator includes: a celestial-body-position output unit configured to output three-dimensional positions of extragalactic celestial bodies in space; an observation-position designation unit configured to allow an operator to designate a three-dimensional position and a posture of an observer in extragalactic space; a celestial-body-image arrangement unit configured to determine, based on the output from the celestial-body-position output unit, arrangement of an image of each extragalactic celestial body in a star field seen from the designated three-dimensional position and posture of the observer, and generate a star field image; a cosmic-expansion selection unit configured to allow the operator to perform selection as to whether a cosmic expansion effect is taken into account; a time designation unit configured to designate an observation time; and a cosmic-expansion correction unit configured to correct the three-dimensional position of each extragalactic celestial body based on the cosmic expansion effect and the designated observation time.
Virtual flight deck
A method is present for presenting a flight deck. A model of the flight deck is identified having a number of locations for a number of displays. Aircraft data is obtained. A number of panels is generated from the aircraft data. A display of the flight deck is generated containing the number of panels in the number of locations to form a presentation of the flight deck.
Perspective selection for a debriefing scene
Debriefing a session from a user in a system. During the session, while the user performs actions on one or more tangible instruments of the system, dynamic data is logged in relation to the system along a session timeline. The dynamic data covers the actions of the user on tangible instrument(s). A graphical user interface depicting a debriefing scene, related to the session, is displayed from a first point of view starting at a first time within the session timeline. The debriefing scene is generated starting at the first time from at least a first image feed. Upon detection of a predetermined event in the dynamic data at a second time along the session timeline, a second point of view different from the first point of view is defined and the debriefing scene is generated therefrom after the second time using at least a second image feed.
Aircraft Procedural Trainer Interface
A control and simulation system (CSS) has a flight system configured to selectively provide flight mode of operation of an aircraft and a simulation system configured to selectively provide a simulation mode of operating the aircraft.
