Entertainment/Educational System and Associated Apparatus, Methods and Uses
20220246061 · 2022-08-04 ·

The present specification discloses an entertainment/educational system having one or more interactive stations having associated systems comprising apparatus and activities that demonstrate various physical phenomenon. Each interactive station comprises a different system featuring differing apparatus that provides users the ability to form various types and numbers of bubbles that the users can experience and interact with. User progression and interaction with a particular set of/order of interactive stations is correlated with lessons about physical phenomena exemplified by the bubbles made at a particular station of the total stations visited. The lessons may be further enhanced by information provided to users via a poster, handout, booklet or other informative media or information provided by a guide/attendant escorting user(s) through the set of stations.

MODULAR BATHYMETRY SYSTEMS AND METHODS
20220101754 · 2022-03-31 ·

In one embodiment, a bathymetry system includes a base slab, multiple spacer assemblies, a decking layer, multiple computer numerical control routed blocks, a waterproof coating, and multiple floor joints. The spacer assemblies are coupled with a top surface of the base slab, the decking layer is disposed on top surfaces of the spacer assemblies, the blocks are disposed on a top surface of the decking layer, floor joints are disposed between blocks and the decking layer, and the waterproof coating is disposed on top surfaces of the blocks. The top surfaces of the routed blocks are shaped so that the blocks collectively provide a bathymetry profile, such as a bottom contour of a riverbed.

EDUCATIONAL S.T.E.M. TOY TO EXPLORE THE RELATIONSHIP OF PRESSURE, VOLUME, AND TEMPERATURE
20220020290 · 2022-01-20 ·

An educational toy kit that can be assembled into a simple device that translates changes in the volume of gas trapped in a rigid container with a flexible membrane into the movement of a graduated indicator. The changes in gas volume can be created by changes in ambient pressure, as in when changing altitude or temperature and thus can be used to observe the inherent relationship of a gas' volume to its temperature and pressure as governed by the Universal Gas Law (PV=nRT) for the purpose of education and entertainment.

EXPERIMENT PLATFORM FOR SIMULATING FIRE IN UNDERGROUND TRAFFIC CONVERSION CHANNEL

The present disclosure provides an experiment platform for simulating fire in an underground traffic conversion channel, including: a model body configured to simulate fire in the an underground traffic conversion channel; a burner connected to the model body and configured to generate smoke; and a smoke imaging system including laser sheet light sources and image recording devices configured to record smoke distribution images. The laser sheet light sources are in the model body, and plane laser light emitted by the laser sheet light sources is parallel to a flow direction of the smoke. The image recording devices are in one-to-one correspondence to the laser sheet light sources and are arranged outside an observation window of the model body. One laser sheet light source and one image recording device corresponding thereto each have a filter configured to filter out laser light of a same wavelength.

Physical catchment model for rainfall runoff experiment

The present invention relates to a physical catchment model for a rainfall runoff experiment, characterized by being a physical catchment construction model having a structure in which a real terrain miniature is disposed at one side thereof and a developed terrain miniature is disposed at the adjacent other side thereof. According to the present invention, the rainfall runoff experiment is performed by collecting rainwater flowing out downwardly from the terrain miniatures through the application of artificial rainfall to the physical catchment model for the rainfall runoff experiment so as to easily compare and measure a change in the amount of rainwater flowing out for a predetermined time during rainfall in an undeveloped real terrain and a developed terrain, thereby enabling easy establishment of a national land use and development plan in the development planning stage for utilization of national land so that natural disasters caused by the rainfall runoff of land planned to be developed can be prevented in advance.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR REDUCING OUTPUT OF RESERVOIR SIMULATION DATA

A method may include generating three-dimensional (3D) reservoir simulation data regarding a subsurface formation. The 3D reservoir simulation data may correspond to a plurality of reservoir properties at a predetermined timestep within a reservoir simulation. The method may include generating a 3D pixel dataset using the 3D reservoir simulation data. Each pixel of the 3D pixel dataset may be determined based on a plurality of reservoir property values. Each pixel of the 3D pixel dataset may include a red value, a green value, and a blue value that corresponds to three different reservoir property values out of the plurality of reservoir property values. The method may include generating a two-dimensional (2D) pixel dataset using the 3D pixel dataset. The 2D pixel dataset may correspond to a single video frame within various video frames.
