Systems and methods are provided for production and display of map based slide presentations. The system may provide a map of a geographic region via a map interface and select a portion of the geographic region for creation of a slide. The slide may be created to incorporate all of the data within the selected portion and may be part of a series of slides in a presentation. The user may further provide access controls to data aspects within the slide and the system may use the access controls to regulate display of the slide.

A digital map based online platform is provided. The online platform comprises an outdoor map server, a data store, a building database, a space database, and a computer program stored in a medium. The data store manages digital files related to buildings including floor plans of buildings and digital files including website source codes related to spaces in individual folders for each building and space. The building database and the space database manage map setting data of buildings and spaces, respectively. The computer program stored in a medium executes a series of stages to integrally display an outdoor map, an indoor map including floor plans of buildings, Internet links, and responsive HTML pages on the view of a digital map. The medium includes a web server and a user terminal.

Systems and methods of providing a user interface in which map features associated with places are selectively highlighted are disclosed herein. In some example embodiments, a computer system receives a request for a transportation service associated with a place, retrieves an entrance geographic location for the place from a database, with the entrance geographic location being stored in association with the place in the database and representing an entrance for accessing the place, generating route information based on the retrieved entrance geographic location, with the route information indicating a route from an origin geographic location of a computing device of a user to the entrance geographic location of the place, and causing the generated route information to be displayed within a user interface on a computing device of the user.

A flexible light emitting substrate in accordance with an embodiment hereof includes a controller, a base substrate that carries a data source printed or displayed thereon, which defines a plurality of grid locations, and a data display source provided on, under, or within the base substrate and is wirelessly or wiredly coupled to the controller. Each data display source is associated with a respective grid coordinate or with a specific location or with a position of an object or person relative to a boundary displayed on the base substrate. The embodiment further includes a position sensor for determining the current location of a person or object, and a power source for providing power to the data display source and the controller, where the controller is configured for selectively controlling operation of the data display source based at least partially on the determined current location of the person or object.

Various implementations described herein may refer to a system and method for trading emissions units. In one implementation, a method may include receiving emissions attribute data from users for emissions objects, where a respective emissions object is associated with a respective emissions output. The method may also include receiving evidence data from the users for the emissions objects, where the respective device is configured to transmit the evidence data to a distributed ledger. The method may further include determining emissions output data for the emissions objects. The method may additionally include transmitting the emissions output data to the distributed ledger. The method may also include generating emissions units for the users based on the emissions output data. The method may further include providing an emissions market platform to the users for trading the emissions units.

A method and system for generating a location identifier using a location code and a grid coordinate. The location code corresponds to a defined geographical area, such as a postal code or an area code. A grid coordinate can be determined based on destination location information, such as an address, a GPS-determined position, or other reference to a specific physical location. The location identifier is combined with the location code to generate a location identifier, which can be encoded in a computer readable format and placed on items for use in a distribution network. The location identifier can be used to facilitate domestic or international distribution of items using a common format or addressing scheme. The domestic and foreign distribution networks read and interpret location identifiers in order to deliver items.

A method for generating thumbnails is disclosed. The method may include receiving an area map, and chart data having a geographical information set. The method may include generating a plurality of panels having one or more panel corners based on the chart data. The method may include projecting the one or more panel corners onto the area map, defining one or more corners of a plurality of areas to be extracted. The method may include determining an extraction mapping for each area to be extracted, the extraction mapping configured to map the plurality of areas to be extracted to a plurality of thumbnail panels. The method may include extracting area map data from each area to be extracted to generate a plurality of thumbnail panels using the determined extraction mapping. The method may include generating a thumbnail display by combining each thumbnail panel of the plurality of thumbnail panels.

Systems and methods of providing a user interface in which map features associated with places are selectively highlighted are disclosed herein. In some example embodiments, a computer system receives a request for a transportation service associated with a place, retrieves an entrance geographic location for the place from a database, with the entrance geographic location being stored in association with the place in the database and representing an entrance for accessing the place, generating route information based on the retrieved entrance geographic location, with the route information indicating a route from an origin geographic location of a computing device of a user to the entrance geographic location of the place, and causing the generated route information to be displayed within a user interface on a computing device of the user.

A drive assist apparatus includes a processor and a storage. The processor includes a line-of-sight detector, an emotion estimator, and a notification processing unit. The line-of-sight detector detects information on a line of sight of one or both of a vehicle occupant present in a vehicle and a traffic participant present around the vehicle. The emotion estimator estimates an emotion of the one or both of the vehicle occupant and the traffic participant. The storage stores, when the estimated emotion is detected as a positive emotion, data on a viewpoint including information on a position of the vehicle on map data and information on the line of sight. The notification processing unit makes, on the basis of the data on the viewpoint stored in the storage, a notification of information on a direction to notice to the vehicle occupant present in the vehicle traveling through a location corresponding to the viewpoint.

Systems and methods for providing natural language annunciations are provided. In one embodiment, a method can include receiving a set of data indicative of a user input associated with one or more travel modes. Information indicative of the one or more travel modes can be provided for display on a first display device. The method can further include generating an output indicative of a natural language annunciation based at least in part on the first set of data. The natural language annunciation can be indicative of the one or more travel modes using natural language syntax. The method can include sending the output indicative of the natural language annunciation to one or more other computing devices associated with a second display device.
