Biological sample containment system and label
A biological sample containment system that includes a biological specimen collection container for collecting a biological sample and a label for the container is disclosed. In one embodiment, the label includes a first or front side and a second or rear side having a readable information portion. The label is affixable to the container by the second side and with the label affixed to the container, the readable information portion on the second side is readable through a portion of the container. By including readable information on the second or rear side of the label, the amount of readable information that can be included on the label is increased by using the previously unused rear side of the label.
Label measurement system for a container
The present application is directed to a rotating shrink label measurement systems for a container and methods thereof. A base label may be adhered to the container, and measurement information displayed on the base label. A top label may cover at least a portion of the base label. The top label may be rotatable about the base label to a specific unit of measurement. The top label may have a transparent window allowing measurement information for the specific unit of measurement to be visible through the transparent window. The container and top label may be enclosed by a tamper evident sleeve.
VARIABLE PATTERN SHIELD PROTECTION SYSTEM FOR A TAMPER-EVIDENT CONTAINER
The disclosed embodiments provide a method for tamper-evident shipment or storage of goods. An Electrical Shield pattern is embedded in or printed on a substrate with other electrical, optical, and electronic components, communication components, semiconductors, which are attached or printed on a substrate to form a shipment bag used as a shipping container. The shield pattern can be made variable between different bags by using algorithms entered into a printer control system. The shipment bag with its components can then be assigned a unique signature which differentiates each bag. Application of encryption methods serves to guarantee the shipped goods are authentic and that were not tampered with during shipment. Digital signal processing is used to generate pedigree information, which may include items such as shipping location, serial numbers, sensor information, and lot numbers for the goods. The information related to the history of tampering attempts and other sensor status can be placed in encrypted form in an RFID tags or control or monitoring electronics which can be read by a mobile phone application or sent to a remote cloud-based server.
Block out label, label sheet, and related method
The present invention includes a label, a label sheet and a method for manufacturing the label. The label includes a paper facestock having first and second surfaces and a layer of pressure sensitive adhesive proximal to the second surface. The label can be adhered to a substrate having pre-applied indicia to cover the indicia and the label is opaque enough to prevent the viewing of the covered indicia while matching the color of the substrate.
Method for coding a container and coded container
The invention relates to a method for coding a dimensionally stable packaging container or an associated component made of a plastics-based and/or paper-based material composition, the packaging container being suitable for storing consumer goods such as food, washing agents, etc., wherein, during a shape-forming process for forming the three-dimensional packaging container or the associated component by means of a shaping tool mold, at least one outer and/or inner side undergoes, in at least one position, a shape-changing treatment acting on its first surface in order to produce at least one three-dimensional code.
Labels subject of condensation
Label systems for cold environment use and application are described. The label systems comprise a first label assembly adhered to an article subjected to cold temperatures and a second label assembly that is readily applied to the first label assembly, and particularly when the first label assembly is at a relatively cold temperature. The label systems described are particularly well suited for labeling blood bags and other articles subjected to cold storage.
Label, Device, System and method for sorting bolts
The present invention relates to label, device, system and method for sorting bolts, bars, pins, studs, dowels, screws or the like (collectively and individually described herein as a bolt). The bolts are being characterized by a first and a second dimension. The identification system comprises a color chart defining all ten numerals and most commonly used bolt diameters corresponding to various colors and an identification label. The identification label comprises a main section and at least one other section being both adapted to receive at least one color and/or a numeral. Each combination of a color and a numeral being defined by the color chart. The combination of colors and/or numerals of the main section defines the first dimension of the bolt and the combination of colors and/or numerals of the at least one other section defines the second dimension of the bolt.
THREE-DIMENSIONAL CONTAINER LABEL AND METHOD OF USE
A three-dimensional label with an easy to identify vertical label face that is used to display a container and or content of the container. The label attaches to any part of a container to identify but not limited to the contents, name, brand, cause, purpose, person, season or medication. The primary purpose of the invention is to provide an easy to identify label for products that otherwise may be difficult to distinguish between, such as spices in a spice cabinet or medication in a medicine cabinet. The label can be formed to be the physical cap or lid to the container, and may include other elements such as a slide-in label or a straw for a drink container. The vertical label face could be affixed to the base of the label such that it can hinge up and down.
Inventory Management
A prescription management system receives prescription information and manages containers filled with the prescription. The prescription is stored in the container and the container is attached to a tracking device storing prescription information. The tracking device is managed by the prescription management system. The tracking device activates an indicator when it receives a request from the prescription management system identifying the tracking device. The indicator permits a user, such as a pharmacist, to locate a desired prescription. In some instances, filled prescriptions may be stored in a filled prescription holding area for a long period of time (i.e., the customer hasn't picked up the prescription). The system allows a user to identify these filled prescriptions and return the medication back to available stock for filling future prescriptions. The system may also identify these filled prescriptions and have the filled prescriptions delivered to a customer's home before the prescriptions expire.
Inventory Assurance
A prescription management system receives prescription information and manages containers filled with the prescription. The prescription is stored in the container and the container is attached to a tracking device storing prescription information. The tracking device is managed by the prescription management system. The tracking device activates an indicator when it receives a request from the prescription management system identifying the tracking device. The indicator permits a user, such as a pharmacist, to locate a desired prescription. In some instances, the system may detect an event associated with the stored prescription that prevents the prescription from being dispensed to a customer. For example, the storage container may be tampered with, the prescription may require additional verification, or a consultation must be given to the customer first. Once the appropriate remedial action has taken place, the system allows the prescription to be dispensed to the customer.
