THERMAL INK LABELLED PACKAGING
Disclosed herein is a packaging label. The label includes a first region comprising a first thermochromic ink where the first thermochromic ink undergoes a permanent change from a first state to a second state when exposed to a first temperature. The label includes a second region having a second thermochromic ink where the second thermochromic ink undergoes a temporary change from the first state to the second state when exposed to the first temperature only to return to the first state upon being exposed to a desired second temperature.
PRINTED TAGS FOR HEATED FOOD ITEMS
Systems and methods are provided for creating printed tags for use in connection with a heated food item placed into a hot holding unit. System components may include a user interface, a printer, and a controller. The controller is programmed to instruct the user interface to display a prompt for an operator to input information identifying one or more characteristics of a food item positioned within or to be placed into a hot holding unit. The controller receives the information from the user interface and instructs the printer to generate a tag identifying the food item and the time at which the food item is to be removed from the hot holding unit and discarded. The tag may include a display area to display the printed information and a support area with a slit that allows the tag to be supported by a rack of the hot holding unit.
Label form including concealable label
A label form that includes a sheet material and a substrate piece is disclosed. The sheet material has a covering section and a concealable section connected to the covering section. The reinforcing piece is attached to a surface of the sheet material. When the concealable section is folded under the covering section, at least a portion of the undersurface of the reinforcing piece is revealed.
LABEL
A label for a container involves a single layer sheet material comprising a polymer having a non-directional grain, one or more weakened areas defining a tortuous or serpentine strip of the sheet material having a first end and a second end and an overall length between the first end and the second end, tortuous or serpentine strip being defined such that when attached to a surface of a container, and deployed, the overall length will be at least 83 cm (33 inches), and a low tack adhesive on at least a portion of one side of the sheet material within at least part of the weakened areas defining the tortuous or serpentine strip.
Composite shipping labels for multi-location deliveries
Composite shipping labels for multi-location deliveries are described herein. In an example, a computer system receives a request for a delivery of an item to a delivery location associated with an intermediate location. The item is to be delivered to the intermediate location prior to being delivered to the delivery location. The computer system causes a printing of a label for the item. The label includes a first label part indicating the delivery location. The first label part is configured to be coupled to the item. The label also includes a second label part indicating the intermediate location. The second label part is configured to be positioned at least partially covering the first label part and at least partially detachable from the first label part. The computer system instructs an operation of attaching the label to the item.
Linerless combined mailing label and return label and method of manufacturing same
A combined primary label and secondary label comprises a first piece of paper, a first release coating disposed on a portion of the first piece of paper, a second piece of paper, a second release coating different from the first release coating and disposed on a portion of the second piece of paper. The combined primary and secondary label further comprises an adhesive layer disposed between the first and second pieces of paper such that (i) a primary label can be peeled away with at least some adhesive of the adhesive layer from the second release coating disposed on the portion of the second piece of paper, and (ii) a secondary label can be peeled away with at least some adhesive of the same adhesive layer from the first release coating disposed on the portion of the first piece of paper.
Electronic express waybill
Provided is an electronic waybill, which relates to the technical field of logistics. The electronic waybill includes a base layer and a surface layer, where the surface layer is disposed on a side of the base layer, the base layer and the surface layer collectively constitute an information-bearing surface configured to bear waybill information, and after the surface layer is removed from the base layer, part of the waybill information is retained on the base layer and the other part of the waybill information is retained on the surface layer.
