To prevent an ink from discoloring and an ink from remaining when a tape for label writer using a transparent synthetic resin film which is colorized by an ink layer is peeled off from an adherend.

A tape for label writer being composed of: (i) the tape for label writer having a layer structure including at least a process layer, substrate layer, ink layer, barrier layer, and adhesive layer in this order; (ii) the substrate layer being a synthetic resin film; and (iii) the ink layer including one adhesive resin selected from the group including polyurethane resin, acrylic resin and polyester resin, and a pigment.

Label for marking items

The present invention relates to a label for marking items comprising a carrier material with a top side and a bottom side. The carrier material is printable at least on the top side. Adhesive layers are provided on the bottom side and the top side, wherein at least the adhesive layer provided on the top side can be activated for example by heat.

LINERLESS LABEL

This invention relates to a method for manufacturing a continuous linerless label web (100). The continuous linerless label web (100) comprises a face (110) having a first side (111) and a second side (112) and a positionally alternating adhesive coating on the second side (112), wherein the method comprises: supplying the face (110) with a release coating arranged on the first side (111), providing positionally alternating continuous adhesive stripes (121) on the second side (112) of the web (100), wherein predetermined properties of the positionally alternating continuous adhesive stripes (121) are selected so that number of stripes in each single customer roll (300) is one or more, width of each stripe is smaller than width of single customer roll (300), and positional frequency is selected so that one oscillation cycle covers 0.1-10 peripherical lengths in a machine roll (570), and 1-100 peripherical lengths in a customer roll (300) defined as peripheries of full rolls. This invention further relates to a linerless label web and a linerless customer roll.

Adhesive label and roll

An adhesive label is provided. The adhesive label includes an adhesive patch that covers at least 50% but less than 85% of a backside surface of the adhesive label and that is at least partially horizontally and vertically centered on the backside surface.

A label web and method utilize a substrate, first and second longitudinally spaced label arrays each including two or more double-sided adhesive labels removably attached to the substrate, and a peelable protective covering web extending generally coextensive with the substrate. The label arrays and the peelable protective web are configured such that the peelable protective web is selectively removable to expose the first label array while remaining removably attached to the second label array, with both the first and second label arrays remaining removably attached to the substrate, to thereby facilitate removal of all labels in the first label array as a group while the peelable protective covering web remains in place over the second label array.

A label including a first strip including a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The first strip includes an opaque material. The first strip further includes a first area proximate the first end. The first area includes a first length along a longitudinal axis common to the first strip. The label also includes a second strip including a third end and a fourth end opposite the third end, wherein the second strip includes a transparent material. The second strip is laminated over the first strip such that the third end is disposed outside the first area. The fourth end extends beyond the second end a distance at least equal to the first length.

In-line production of linerless labels

According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method of labeling a plurality of products includes coating a pressure sensitive adhesive to a roll of face stock, the roll of face stock configured to be converted to a plurality of individual labels aligned in a single lane; singulating an individual label from the roll of face stock; and applying the individual label to a product of the plurality of products, wherein the coating, singulating and applying are conducted sequentially in a single continuous operation with a single continuous web of material.

ADHESIVE-FREE LAMINATES AND METHOD FOR MAKING
20220134718 · 2022-05-05 ·

An adhesive-free laminate and a process for producing such a laminate are described herein. The process includes printing an ink on the surface of a first film, exposure of the printed film to UV radiation such that the ink is at least partially cured, attaching the first film to a second film such that the ink is between the first and second film, and exposing the combination of the first film, the ink and the second film to a second UV radiation. It has been found that this process can produce a unique laminate, without the presence of an adhesive.
