LINERLESS RECEIPTS AND LABELS
A labeling system comprising at least one linerless label configured to receive printing thereon; a substrate for receiving the label and to which the label becomes permanently bound after the label has been attached to the substrate; at least two materials deposited on the substrate-contacting side of the linerless label prior to attaching the linerless label to the substrate, wherein the first material is either a repositionable adhesive, a remoistenable adhesive, or a non-adhesive material, and wherein the first material is deposited in a layer having a predetermined thickness, wherein the second material is either a remoistenable adhesive, a repositionable adhesive, or a pressure sensitive adhesive, and wherein the second material is deposited in a layer having a predetermined thickness, and wherein the predetermined thickness of the layer of the first material is either less than the predetermined thickness of the layer of the second material or greater than the predetermined thickness of the layer of the second material.
COMBINED RECEIPT AND LABEL ROLL HAVING OPTIMAL ADHESIVE PATCH PATTERNS AND A METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF
A combined receipt and label roll comprises a core, and a web having a longitudinally-extending axis and wound on the core along the axis. The web includes (i) a substrate having a front side and a back side opposite the front side, (ii) a thermally-sensitive coating disposed on the front side of the substrate, and (iii) a water-based microsphere adhesive disposed on the back side of the substrate along the web axis. The water-based microsphere adhesive comprises at least four separate adhesive patches. The at least four adhesive patches are both sized relative to each other and positioned relative to each other on the back side of the substrate such that additional tack desired can be obtained by increasing volume of the adhesive patches without having to increase coat weight of the adhesive patches.
Personal Identification Marking Label Device
The present invention relates to a novel identification label that can be customized. The labels are designed to be either integrated or removably attached on exterior surface of consumer product containers allowing users to avoid potential confusion with respect to ownership, use or control of their containers. The label has an opaque scratch-off blank surface that can be removed to create a personalized identification mark. The label may have an UV-ink coating or can have a label layer for creating identification mark when the scratch-off blank surface is scratched. The labels are designed to be affixed on any personal item to prevent items from accidentally being misidentified.
Adhesive label and roll
An adhesive label is provided. The adhesive label includes an adhesive patch that covers at least 50% but less than 85% of a backside surface of the adhesive label and that is at least partially horizontally and vertically centered on the backside surface.
Linerless label and method for preparing a label
A printed linerless face laminate includes a release layer including a release agent, a second layer including a thermoplastic polymer, a second adhesive layer, a first layer including a thermoplastic polymer or fiber-based material, and a first adhesive layer including a pressure sensitive adhesive, wherein the print is on one or more printable surface(s) between the first layer and the second layer. A method for producing the printed linerless face laminate is also described.
A linerless label product, manufacturing a linerless label product and use of a linerless label product for delivery of orders
This specification relates to a linerless label product intended for end uses having a short label-life and requiring manual handling, repositionability and/or removability together with lean sustainable and economical structure. A linerless label web (631, 741) comprising a direct thermal printable face (210, 630, 740) and a pressure sensitive adhesive (220) is provided. The linerless label web (631, 741) comprises the pressure sensitive adhesive (220) arranged in one or more machine-direction continuous stripes leaving one or more non-adhesive area(s) between said machine-direction continuous stripes in a cross direction of the linerless label web. A total coverage of the pressure sensitive adhesive (220) in the cross direction of the linerless label web is less than 70%, or less than 50%, or less than 30%. Further, a manufacturing method of a linerless label web (631, 741), a linerless label product roll (200) as well use of the linerless label web (631, 741) or the linerless label product roll (200) in on-demand printing for preparation and delivery of orders are provided.
LABEL MANUFACTURING APPARATUS AND LABEL MANUFACTURED BY SAME LABEL MANUFACTURING APPARATUS
Proposed are a label manufacturing apparatus and a label manufactured by the same label manufacturing apparatus. The label manufacturing apparatus includes a pressure-sensitive adhesive applying unit applying a pressure-sensitive adhesive onto a label fabric, a pressure-sensitive adhesive drying unit located behind the pressure-sensitive adhesive applying unit and drying the pressure-sensitive adhesive applied onto the label fabric, and a release paper attaching unit provided behind the pressure-sensitive adhesive drying unit and attaching a release paper onto the rear surface of the label fabric, wherein the release paper attaching unit is configured such that among a pair of rollers allowing the label fabric and the release paper to pass therebetween to be laminated, a roller guiding the label fabric has a concave/convex portion formed on a surface thereof so that a groove is formed on the laminated label fabric which has passed through the release paper attaching unit.
RECYCLABLE PLASTIC LABEL
The disclosure relates to a mechanically recyclable label (1) comprising a face (2) and an adhesive (4). The face (2) comprises ethylene containing polymer and the adhesive (4) comprises pressure sensitive adhesive. The pressure sensitive adhesive comprises at least 15 wt. % of a base polymer, at least 25 wt. % of a tackifier and at least 10 wt. % of a plasticizer. The base polymer, the tackifier and the plasticizer are colourless and odourless. The base polymer is a polyolefin. The mechanically recyclable label (1) is mechanically recyclable with packaging material comprising ethylene containing polymer. The disclosure further relates to a label laminate (8), a method for manufacturing a label laminate (8), a labelled item (101), as well as to use of a label (1) and of a label laminate (8).
