A multilayer film is disclosed, including a printable coating layer including a soft polyurethane, and defining a first surface of the multilayer film; a core layer under the printable coating layer; a barrier layer under the core layer and including a polyamide; and an adhesive receptive layer under the barrier layer, defining a second surface of the multilayer film opposite the first surface, and including a hard polyurethane, wherein: the soft polyurethane has a minimum film forming temperature (MFFT) <0 C.; the MFFT of the hard polyurethane is >0 C.; the hard polyurethane is effective to reduce static discharge from a roll of the multilayer film unwound at a rate of at least 600 m/min; and the multilayer film is biaxially oriented and exhibits a blocking force <1000 g. Also disclosed is a label including the multilayer film of the invention and ink bonded to the printable coating layer.

Linerless label product, manufacturing a linerless label product and use of a linerless label product for delivery of orders

This specification relates to a linerless label product intended for end uses having a short label-life and requiring manual handling, repositionability and/or removability together with lean sustainable and economical structure. A linerless label web (631, 741) comprising a direct thermal printable face (210, 630, 740) and a pressure sensitive adhesive (220) is provided. The linerless label web (631, 741) comprises the pressure sensitive adhesive (220) arranged in one or more machine-direction continuous stripes leaving one or more non-adhesive area(s) between said machine-direction continuous stripes in a cross direction of the linerless label web. A total coverage of the pressure sensitive adhesive (220) in the cross direction of the linerless label web is less than 70%, or less than 50%, or less than 30%. Further, a manufacturing method of a linerless label web (631, 741), a linerless label product roll (200) as well use of the linerless label web (631, 741) or the linerless label product roll (200) in on-demand printing for preparation and delivery of orders are provided.

PLASTIC LABEL

To provide a plastic label having a sufficient antistatic property even when the plastic label has a printed layer formed from an aqueous ink. A plastic label including: a printed layer on one surface of a label base material including a plastic film; and an antistatic layer on the other surface thereof, wherein the printed layer is a printed layer formed from an aqueous ink, the antistatic layer contains an antistatic agent, and the antistatic layer has a surface resistivity of less than 1.010.sup.12/ under an atmosphere of 25 C. and 50% relative humidity after the printed layer and the antistatic layer are held in contact with each other at 0.025 MPa for 96 hours.
