A labeling article includes an elastic substrate and a tag. The elastic substrate has first and second opposed surfaces and a cut. The tag has third and fourth opposed major surfaces. An entirety of the third major surface overlies a portion of the first major surface. The third major surface is bonded to the first major surface. At least a portion of the tag is positioned adjacent the cut. In another aspect, a labeling article includes a first member and a second member. The first member is formed of an elastic material that includes a fastening opening therein and an interior portion that projects into the fastening opening. The second member is formed of an inelastic material that overlies at least the interior portion. The second and first members are bonded together. A composite web of labeling articles includes an elastic material web and first and second tag material strips.

An interactive, multi-message, multimedia hazard communication labeling and hazard control system which communicates critical consumer safety information, including: 1) the core or principal hazard (i.e., FALL HAZARD); 2) a core or principle signal word (i.e., DANGER, CAUTION, WARNING, etc.) which indicates the level of hazard; 3) the core or principal consequence(s) of interaction with that hazard (i.e., Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or death!); 4) the core or principal hazard controls and/or hazard mitigation messages arranged in around the periphery or in close proximity of the principal hazard depicted graphically; 5) the core or principal hazard controls and/or hazard mitigation messages arranged around the periphery or in close proximity of the principal hazard in text format; 6) a quick response (QR) code which provides a scannable, digital link to a web-based platform which provides both specific, as well as, general hazard control information about the control of the core or principal hazard; and 7) a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) which links directly to the web-based information providing digital web-based information about the control of the core or principle hazard.

A medium includes a base layer and a separation layer. First to fifth regions are defined in the medium along a first direction in this order. A labeling apparatus for an end of a rolled set of drawings or any similarly shaped elongated object. A potential embodiment of the apparatus comprises a flexible sheet which can be drawn over an end of the elongated object. The flexible sheet comprises a surface which is capable of being written on with pen, pencil, marker or any writing instrument known in the art. The writable surface can be integral to the flexible sheet or can be a separate writable surface which can be coupled with the flexible sheet. The flexible sheet comprises an elastic gripping feature for coupling the sheet over the end of the elongated object. The writable surface can comprise coloring, patterning or other visual cues known to those in the art to assist a user in identifying the label.

A medium includes a base layer and a separation layer stacked on each other. Regions are defined along a first direction. The regions include: a first region in which a portion of the medium which is in contact with the separation layer is stickable; a second region in which a portion of the medium which is in contact with the separation layer is non-stickable; and a third region in which a portion of the medium which is in contact with the separation layer is at least partly stickable. A food safety device for limiting cross contamination and preventing food borne illnesses. The food safety device is attachable and securable to a rim of a food holding or storage container on an edge or corner of the food storage or holding container. A flexible body is designed to fit over and frictionally engage the rim of the food storage container. The flexible body may secure to a corner or a side of the food storage or holding container. A labeling component allows food preparers and consumers to readily identify the stored foods and the ingredients. The labeling component may be pre-labeled, color coded, or adjustable.

The invention relates to an animal recognition and location arrangement in which the arrangement is easily attached to an animal. The arrangement comprises two components, a first component containing self powering and electronic communication features and a second component for attaching or securing the first component to the animal. The arrangement provides for unique identification information for the animal including location, and is also provided with a self-powering feature comprising a solar cell, and an illuminating feature, such as a light emitting diode for visually locating the animal at night. The first component of the arrangement also contains microcomputer devices for allowing electronic identification and location of the animal while the second component is constructed to allow for easy assembly of the first component to the animal.
