The printable area is accessible through the void and is configured to receive indicia from a printer through the void while the wristband is releasably secured to the second portion. Upon removal of the wristband from the second portion, the second panel is foldable over the first panel to laminate the printable area.

A label substrate is segmented into three portions by perforations a border portion, a label tear strip, and a center portion. A front side of the liner substrate is aligned with a backside of the label substrate such that the liner tear strip aligns within the label tear strip, the bottom portion of the liner substrate aligns with the center portion of the label substrate, and the top portion of the liner substrate is aligned above and below a top perforation for the label tear strip.

Labels with Liner Separation Feature

A liner in a label-liner combination is provided with a die cut portion made in the liner. The die cut portion is aligned with at least one edge in a label and a front side of the liner is attached to a backside of the label. The die cut portion of the liner is adapted to be removed from the liner when the label is removed from the label-liner combination. Dimensions, and orientation, and a location of the die cut portion in the liner are adapted to allow the label to be removed from the label-liner combination and applied to a surface by digits of a hand without touching an adhesive coating on the backside of the label and adapted to maintain proper printer waste liner spool operations when the liner is wound after application of the label.

Single ply wristband with printable coating

A combination wristband and label form. The form includes a polyester section having a single-ply wristband defined by die cuts therein. The wristband includes a foldable portion having a first panel and a second panel. An outer surface of one of the first panel and the second panel is coated with a coating configured for receiving printed indicia. An outer surface of at least the other of the first panel and the second panel has adhesive to allow for the first panel to be adhesively secured to the second panel after the coating has received the printed indicia. The void exposes the coating on the outer surface of one of the first panel and the second panel to allow the printed indicia to be printed on the coating through the void. Upon folding the foldable portion, the printed indicia is sandwiched between the first panel and the second panel.

LABEL SHEET ASSEMBLY WITH SURFACE FEATURES

A label sheet assembly and method is disclosed for improving the process of feeding label sheets through a printer. The label sheet assembly may include a facestock layer and a liner sheet. The facestock layer may include an adhesive layer along at least a portion of a first side and include a label surface along at least a portion of the second side opposite the adhesive layer. The liner sheet layer may include at least one surface feature provided along a back side of the liner sheet. In another embodiment, the facestock layer may include at least one surface feature provided along the front of the facestock layer. The surface features may create a zone of increased friction or increase tactile sensitivity along the various surfaces of the label sheet assembly to improve printer processing.

A second label is removably affixed to the first side of the substrate adjacent to the first label in a side-by-side relationship. The first labels may be utilized to print desired information thereon and the second labels may fabricated from a transparent, protective material coating which may positioned on the first labels to discourage damage to the first labels from exposure to water or handling when the first labels are affixed to corresponding products.
