A label sheet assembly is disclosed for improving the process of feeding label sheets through a printer. The label sheet includes a facestock layer and a liner sheet. The facestock layer includes an adhesive layer along a first side and include a label surface along a second side opposite the adhesive layer. The label sheet may include a puncture surface feature along a matrix portion of the facestock layer, wherein the puncture surface feature may include a plurality of puncture holes formed in a shape wherein each puncture hole that forms a slightly concave shape along one side and a slightly convex shape along the opposite side. The puncture surface features provides a zone of tactile sensitivity along the label sheet and are configured to reduce off-registration of printed indicia along the at least one label when processed through a printer device.

A composite web of labeling articles includes an elastic material web and first and second tag material strips.

A method for making labels comprising providing a plastic substrate layer and a paper substrate layer. The paper substrate layer comprises a printed display information sheet, wherein the printed display information sheet comprises a plurality of display information tags arranged in an array. The plastic substrate layer is coupled to each of the rows of display information tags within a first portion of the display information tags to form a composite substrate row. A first line of perforations is cut into a width of the composite substrate at one or more first spaced intervals, a length of the first spaced intervals being defined by a length of the display information tags. A second line of perforations is cut into a width of the composite substrate at one or more second spaced intervals, a length of the second spaced intervals being defined by a height of the display information tags.

The label material is operable to be removed from the container by the recipient by hand, in order to remove the personal information from the container and to reveal the advertising information to the recipient.

A separation indicator for indicating when a door has been opened. The separation indicator includes a substrate having opposed inner and outer surfaces and first and second portions, with an elongated tear line between the first and second portions. An adhesive material is applied to the inner surface of the substrate and a message, pattern, or design is printed on the outer face of the substrate. The indicator further comprises a series of perforations separated by uncut links along the tear line, with at least a part of the perforations being angled with respect to the tear line. The links hold the first and second portions of the substate together when the indicator is first placed on a door and break along the tear line when the door to which the indicator is attached is opened. Movement of the door to the open position causes the substrate to tear along the tear line while the first and second portions of the substrate remain adhered to the door and door jamb.
