Universal label
A sandwich-type, steam-sterilizable universal label for sterile products packaging can be used both on soft packaging and hard packaging. The universal label has different adhesives with different adhesive properties which are covered in such a way that they can be exposed selectively individually and separately from each other for their respective adhesive actions.
LABEL TO BE WRAPPED AROUND ADHEREND AND METHOD OF PRINTING AND ATTACHING THE SAME
A label is to be wrapped around an adherend after being printed. The adherend has a diameter equal to or smaller than a prescribed diameter. In the label, a base material has a printing surface. An adhesive layer is provided on an opposite side surface of the base material from the printing surface. A release material is bonded to the adhesive layer with a portion of the adhesive layer exposed. The release material has a higher stiffness than the base material. A mark for alignment is to be used when bonding together exposed sections of the adhesive layer or an exposed section of the adhesive layer with the release material in order to form the label into a loop shape. The mark is provided at a position for forming the label in the loop shape having an inner diameter greater than the prescribed diameter.
MEDIUM INCLUDING RELEASE MATERIAL AND PRINTING LABEL AND METHOD OF WRAPPING PEELED-OFF LABEL
A medium is configured to be mounted in and printed with a printer. The medium includes: a release material; and a printing label. The release material is provided with a cut-out area. The cut-out area is surrounded by a hole or a cut or a series of holes or a series of cuts and has at least a first side and a second side. The first side and the second side oppose each other. The printing label is affixed to the release material so as to extend across the first side and the second side of the cut-out area. The first side and the second side are configured to include different types of the holes or the cuts or the series of holes or the series of cuts from each other.
LABEL SHEET ASSEMBLY WITH PUNCTURE SURFACE FEATURES
A label sheet assembly is disclosed for improving the process of feeding label sheets through a printer. The label sheet includes a facestock layer and a liner sheet. The facestock layer includes an adhesive layer along a first side and include a label surface along a second side opposite the adhesive layer. The label sheet may include a puncture surface feature along a matrix portion of the facestock layer, wherein the puncture surface feature may include a plurality of puncture holes formed in a shape wherein each puncture hole that forms a slightly concave shape along one side and a slightly convex shape along the opposite side. The puncture surface features provides a zone of tactile sensitivity along the label sheet and are configured to reduce off-registration of printed indicia along the at least one label when processed through a printer device.
ADHESIVE LABEL FOR A MULTI-PART CONTAINER, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR APPLYING AN ADHESIVE LABEL TO A MULTI-PART CONTAINER
An adhesive label for a multi-part container having a threaded member and a container body includes a first, sheet-like label portion adapted to be attached to the threaded member of the container, and a second label portion adjacent the first label portion and adapted to be attached to the container body of the container. The second label portion has a comb-like structure with strip-shaped fixing elements such that the adhesive label couples the threaded member to the container body relative to a condition applied to the container and opposes movement of the threaded member relative to the container body.
Multilayer label
A label for a package that includes a base layer and a top layer attached to the base layer is disclosed. The base layer includes a central surface adapted to receive written markings. The top layer covers at least part of the base layer and includes perforations such that a detachable part of the top layer has a perimeter at least partially defined by the perforations. The detachable part includes a front surface and a back surface that faces the base layer while the perforations remain intact. The front and back surfaces of the top layer are adapted to receive written markings. And, the top layer is opaque such that while the perforations remain intact, any written markings on the back surface of the detachable part or on the central surface of the base layer are not visible from a vantage point outside of the label.
Tag attachment by shrink film
In one aspect, an article includes a first sleeve formed from a first heat-shrinkable polymer sheet, the first heat-shrinkable polymer sheet having opposed first and second edges, wherein the first sleeve is formed with a first seam proximate the first edge. A portion of the first heat-shrinkable polymer sheet extends between the first sleeve and the second edge. A tag is bonded to the portion of the first heat-shrinkable polymer sheet proximate the second edge at a first overlap zone of the tag and the portion of the first heat-shrinkable polymer sheet. In another aspect, an article includes a heat-shrinkable polymer sheet and a tag bonded to the sheet. The heat-shrinkable polymer sheet has a central area and a plurality of slits disposed through the sheet, at least one of the plurality of slits oriented to partially surround the central area.
AUXILIARY PRESCRIPTION LABEL
An auxiliary prescription label for a prescription receptacle which is used in combination with a primary prescription label is provided. The prescription label includes at least a first panel and a second panel which are foldably connected together. First and second flaps extend from opposite sides of the first panel. A permanent adhesive is provided on a first face of the first flap, and a releasable adhesive on a first face of the second flap. The permanent adhesive and the releasable adhesive are configured to be secured to the prescription receptacle. A method of adhering the auxiliary label to the prescription receptacle is also provided.
