Secure Mobile Devices
A mobile device includes a body configured to be worn by a user; a lock switchable between an open state and a closed state, where, when the lock is in the closed state, the mobile device is prevented from being removed from the user; and a wireless data system, where the wireless data system and the lock are jointly configured such that, when the lock is open, the wireless data system is at least partially disabled.
SECURITY LABEL FOR A MULTI-PART CONTAINER, USE OF A SECURITY LABEL, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR APPLYING A SECURITY LABEL FOR A MULTI-PART CONTAINER
A security label for a multi-part container includes a first section for attachment to a first container part and a second section adapted to a second container part with respect to a state of the label in that it is applied to the container, so that the label is closed in on itself along an edge line at a free end of the second section facing away from the first section. The two sections form a respective mutually adjacent part of a common material web. The label further includes a severing element between the first and second sections relative to a label longitudinal axis, so that, when the container applied with the label is opened, the label can be cut in a predetermined manner by the severing element and the second section can be removed together with the second container part from the first section and the first container part.
PACKAGING SYSTEM WITH DETECTION OF PRODUCT TAMPERING AND/OR FALSIFICATION AND INTEGRATED GALVANIC CELL(S)
A packaging system or tag is provided for at least one article or item, which employs a multilayer laminate structure that includes an encapsulated transformative material that is disposed between first and second conductive layers. The transformative material is configured to undergo a state change (for example, by a chemical reaction or physical change) that changes impedance between the first and second conductive layers in response to an intrusion or perforation through at least part of the multilayer laminate structure. Furthermore, one of the first and second conductive layers can be configured (for example, by printing or etching) to provide an RF antenna and a first electrode of the at least one integrated galvanic cell. The other of the first and second conductive layers can provide a second electrode of the at least one integrated galvanic cell. The at least one integrated galvanic cell is further provided by encapsulated electrolyte material and ion bridge disposed between the first and second conductive layers. At least one NFC/RFID integrated circuit is mechanically secured to the multilayer laminate structure (for example, in space between the first and second conductive layers) and electrically coupled to the coil antenna, the at least one galvanic cell, and other parts of the first and second conductive layers of the multilayer laminate structure. The galvanic cell can also be made to have long shelf life.
SEALING FILM
Sealing film for application to a base surface includes a carrier film and functional layers that include at least two color display layers and at least two adhesion-controlling layers. The sealing film has an adhesive layer for attachment to the base surface. The functional layers are arranged between the carrier film and the adhesive layer. The carrier film is detachable, at least partially, from the functional layers. In a second state at least one symbol is optically visible but not visible in a first state. The at least two adhesion-controlling layers separate defined regions from the at least two color display layers during carrier film detachment. The functional layers include at least one further adhesion-controlling layer, to make at least one layer behind the further adhesion-controlling layer, viewed from the carrier film toward the adhesive layer, visible in the second state, at least in certain sections, via the detachment.
2-ply printer tape
A printable 2-PLY security tape includes a first tape PLY label stock. A first substrate has a printable outer surface as a first outer PLY surface. A first inner PLY surface includes at least one first release area disposed on an inside surface of the first substrate, and at least one first adhesive area is disposed on the inside surface of the first substrate. A second tape PLY security tape includes a second substrate outer surface as a second outer PLY surface. A second inner PLY surface includes at least one second release area disposed on an inner surface of the second substrate, and at least one second adhesive area disposed on the inner surface of the second substrate. The second adhesive area is in contact with the first release area and the first adhesive area in a contact with the second release area, to form a 2-PLY composite tape.
TAMPER EVIDENT LABEL AND ARTICLE INCORPORATING THE SAME
A tamper evident label is formed of destructible material and has opposite major surfaces. One of the major surfaces has an adhesive thereon and is configured to overlie a theft protection sensor and adhere to an article to be protected. At least one weakness formation is provided in the label adjacent the periphery thereof.
PEELING DETECTION LABEL
The present invention relates to a peel detection label that is a laminate having a backing, a pattern layer formed on a part of a surface of the backing, and a pressure sensitive adhesive laminate in this order, the pressure sensitive adhesive laminate having at least an intermediate layer and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer, wherein a tensile modulus Et at 23° C. of the backing is 50 MPa or greater and 1000 MPa or less.
Tag System to Mitigate Maliciously Tainted and Counterfeit Products
In the invention described, a method of creating a unique tag or labeling system for electronic printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA) that is unique, virtually un-duplicatable, and may be altered when the electronics are tampered with.
Band Seal
A band seal having a strap including a head portion, a tail portion and a middle portion, a retainer, an adhesive pad and a release liner secured to the adhesive pad, wherein the band seal is positionable into three positions including a pre-attached position wherein the middle portion of the strap is in a non-looped orientation, a temporary position wherein the middle portion of the strap is in a looped orientation and the retainer holds the middle portion in this looped orientation with the tail portion being concentric with the middle portion, and an attached position wherein the release liner is removed from the adhesive pad and the tail portion is secured to the adhesive pad.
