Tamper-activated authenticable security device
A security device and a method for verifying such a security device are disclosed. The security device has at least two security features. At least one of the security features is a tamper-evident security feature, which is configured to alter irreversibly upon mechanical tampering with the security device. At least one other of the security features is a robust security feature, which is robust against tampering with the security device. The at least two security features can be extracted from at least one image of the security device with a programmable device having a camera at least in an intact state of the security device.
SERVER APPARATUS, METHOD OF CONTROLLING SERVER APPARATUS, COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM, GENUINE PRODUCT DETERMINING SYSTEM, AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING GENUINE PRODUCT DETERMINING SYSTEM
A server apparatus is provided that includes: at least one memory and at least one processor which function as: a first obtaining unit configured to obtain identification information about a product from a terminal apparatus; a determining unit configured to determine whether the obtained identification information is included in genuine product information including identification information about a genuine product; a second obtaining unit configured to obtain, from the terminal apparatus, personal information from which a user of the terminal apparatus is identifiable; an anonymizing unit configured to anonymize the obtained personal information; and a registering unit configured to register the obtained identification information, a determination result output as a result of the determination, and the anonymized personal information in a storage unit so that the determination result and the anonymized personal information are associated with the obtained identification information.
Multi-address population based on single address
A physical card (in some cases without any on-board source of power or computing capabilities) is configured to maintain access information for digital bearer assets. The physical card may include disposed thereon a single address operable to receive digital bearer assets in one or more transactions on a decentralized computing platform, like a blockchain-based decentralized computing platform. Other decentralized computing platforms utilize different address generation protocols, thus preventing use of a single address on those other platforms. A set of addresses is generated, each address corresponding to a given decentralized computing platform. Each address is based on a same underlying key-pair, and a primary address is selected from the set for a given card. The remaining addresses in the set are stored, without storage of the public key or private key, and returned in a response to a request for additional addresses of the currency card.
Tamper-evident label
A label is provided with a warning layer coating integrated or applied to a front side of the label. The warning layer coating is not activated by application of heat; rather, the warning layer coating activates upon a directional force (vertical or horizontal pulling) applied to the label after the label was initially adhered to a container, bag, box, and/or object. Upon activation, visible color or a printed warning indicia is visible on a front surface of the label, providing evidence that the label was removed after initial application or providing evidence that the label was attempted to be removed after initial application.
Electrostatic ink compositions and scratch-off structures
Disclosed herein is an electrostatic ink composition comprising a component selected from a fatty acid ester having a plurality of hydroxyl substituents and a fatty acid amide having a plurality of hydroxyl substituents. Also described herein are scratch-off structures and methods for producing them.
PEEL-OFF DETECTION LABEL
The invention relates to a peel detection label that is a laminate including a support, a pattern layer formed in a part of the surface of the support, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive laminate having at least a low modulus layer (X), a high modulus layer (Y) and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (Z) in that order, in which the low modulus layer (X) has an n-layered structure (where n is an integer of 1 to 10) having a surface in contact with the support and the pattern layer and a surface in contact with the high modulus layer (Y), and the low modulus layer (X) satisfies a specific thickness-average shear storage elastic modulus.
Volume hologram sheet to be embedded, forgery prevention paper, and card
An object of the present invention is to provide a thin volume hologram sheet to be embedded sufficiently resistant to a mechanical stress such as a stress including a tensile stress, a shear stress and a compression stress at the time of processing even under a heating condition, a forgery prevention paper and a card using the same. The object is achieved by providing a volume hologram sheet to be embedded comprising a volume hologram layer, and a substrate disposed only on one side surface of the volume hologram layer using an adhesion means, wherein a peeling strength of the volume hologram layer and the substrate is 25 gf/25 mm or more.
IMPROVEMENTS IN AND RELATING TO TAMPER-EVIDENT DEVICES
A tamper-evident security device including a first part comprising an optically transparent layer including an array of separate optical focussing elements. A second part comprises an array of separate image elements collectively defining an image viewable through the first part. Each of the optical focussing elements is positioned to reveal therethrough a view of one or more of said image element(s). An optically transparent adhesive layer between the first part and the second part which retains the optical focussing elements so positioned with respect to the image elements thereby in cooperation to reveal the image. The first part is mechanically separable from the second part by release of the adhesive layer to cease the cooperation.
SYSTEMS FOR SECURE CONTACTLESS IDENTIFICATION AND TRACKING WITH REDUNDANT ELECTRONIC/VISUAL SECURITY MECHANISMS
A system for identifying and providing for the retrieval of information relating to an individual by a plurality of authorized users comprising: a skin wearable, waterproof, non-transferable frangible individual identification device comprising an adhesive and an ink arranged on a substrate to provide a physiologically perceptible, humanly understandable information related to said individual, and a machine-readable two-dimensional code, wherein said code can be scanned for identification, interaction, information exchange, and instructions and further comprising an electronic device with the ability to send, receive, and store information; wherein once applied to skin of the individual said identification device is not removable in one piece rendering the identification device inoperable within said system once removed from skin; wherein the ink, substrate, and adhesive are biocompatible; a plurality of receivers; a computer interface device receiving information from said individual identification device and from said receivers respecting the individual identified by said individual identification device; a computer system coupled to said computer interface device, said computer system including a memory with an algorithm for processing information collected by said computer system; and a separate set of receivers and a separate service rendering system, each output information from their respective receivers to a common database, the contents of said common database being coupled to a computing device which communicates information to and from a central server. The identification device is encoded with machine-readable identification information and/or other information and may comprise optionally a Noncontact communication device such as RFID or Bluetooth circuit. A plurality of reader devices and said individual identification device provide information respecting the individual or thing identified by the inventive system.
